Its kinda interesting how the lyrics kinda fit the original hotel california's lyrical methaphor. The original song is a metaphor on the decadance and decay of America in the 70s, a place of narcissism, excess and corruption with too little heart and humility, the dark underbelly of hollywood and the indulgence in hedonistic addiction. Jane doe is such a character with the feeling of a dangerous person living the high life playing with people's hearts. I dont mean jane doe is really like this but her design choice gives off this vibe, a hedonist at heart and have no way of "checking out" of this way of living. The lyrics in this song kinda match up with hotel california like "smokey eyed surprise, lipstain in the moonlight " is like the highlife of Los Angeles, theres eroticism, passion and manipulation, and "can't help but think that your jealous we're alive, cuz we see through your disguise, and threw away the way you lie, you're the predator, and im the prey" do i even need to explain how it embodies what America is? I love how much attention the devs put into something that less than a percent of players would even notice but makes it all the more rich and rewarding an experience for those who recognize their details. Thank you so much for making such an amazing cover of the song, youre truly goated beyond measure
