Really liked this! I recently studied the engine cooling feature that the PW1100G NEOs have installed. Whereby the N2 stays at around 10% to cool the drive shaft on short turn arounds and prevent bowing. Looks as though the PW1900 also has a similar cooling feature but at around 12% N2. Nice one!
Thank you for this! Was very helpful to get my scan correct during start up.
I’m also Flying the E1 and E2. If you would like we can exchange some impressions about it. Best regards.
Hi Captain. Im a captain in Azul Airlines and we will receive the E2 195 soon. Could you make a video about flight plan insertion on FMS? There are many differences between E1 and E2 on FMS. TKS
Hi Captain! As requested follow this link; ruclips.net/video/2MXBWpetbxE/видео.html =)
Thanks for providing these awesome looks into the new fleet!
Is the aircraft being wetleased? Noticed the flight callsign showed on the display as FIN9MP
Hi, thanks for watching! Yes, we fly one daily return flight for Finnair, Bergen - Helsinki, and once weekly, Tromsø - Helsinki =)
Seems like these new engines take a while to spool up during start
Yes, it takes about 40-45 seconds before they get to 24% N2 at which point igniters turn on and fuel is introduced to the engine, all automatically during the startup sequence.
How are you find the E2?
