A humorous story about the Rose Inc. bronzer...i fell in love with their blushers, so i ordered a bronzer and a highlighter as soon as they released. When i received my package from Sephora, i eagerly started opening all the products. When i got to the Rose Inc bronzer, i had some difficulty. I tried for an embarrassingly long time to open the component (assuming it was a compact, similar to the blusher and the highlighter). I will not put into words here what expletives i spoke while attempting to open the bronzer; suffice to say that when i finally realized it was a twist-off packaging, i felt really silly. Insult was added to injury when i swatched the product, and found that it was far too warm for me. Fortunately, my daughter loves it, so all was not lost. I still chuckle about the whole fiasco.
You got something from Sephora that wasn’t broken and smashed? Go buy a lotto ticket! Lol
Omg I did the same thing, took me far too long to realise the bronzer was a twist open!! I think they were playing a trick on us 😂

I agree! I feel like the quality of makeup has improved across the spectrum this year which sucks that this had to come at a time when I said I wasn’t purchasing anymore makeup. 😭

Hey- I'm in a long term relationship with my bangs, my #1 tip is washing them with your regular shampoo in the sink, even on days where you are not washing your hair. It just keeps them less greasy looking than any dry shampoo will and you can make sure they lay the way you want as they are drying.
Julia, use your finger to blend the Rose Inc Highlighters. They melt better into the skin! I use my finger as well to blend my highlighters
We're so glad you're back! And take it easy on yourself after being sick. We all think you're great and love watching your videos! I'm glad doing makeup is therapeutic and makes you happy. I feel the same way myself and often have a better day when I do a fun makeup look. Just doing something creative and feeling like I look nice and I took care of myself makes a big effect on my mood.

I have been loving all your eye looks. I personally am a huge lipstick addict, I love to play with different colours. Dark and deep colours are my favourite. I feel the berry poutsicle might have worked well with the eye look, with a clear gloss. I wish you could experiment a bit more when it comes to lips, and different shades other than the warm nude which you usually use. I know it's not my place to tell you to move outside your comfort zone. I do hope you do!

If you get the inglot duraline, it makes the glisten eyeliners waterproof. You just use it after you created your lines

I feel like you could go more curtain-y with the bangs and they might be easier to deal with, but you'd still kinda get the look!
Hey Julia, can you do more of a how to video using those liners and brushes? I just bought some bc HOW FUN but I’m not confident on how to use them (especially those brushes). I’ve been so into bright graphic looks, but struggle to recreate them. Would really appreciate your help ☺️

* I did try the loreal infallible fresh ware bronzer it's a really good drugstore option but I need a darker color I accidentally got light med and differently need a darker shade.

I tried a sample of that Murad product when it first came out years ago but couldn’t commit bc of the price but is a wonderful product for oily skin, alone or as a base for makeup

I'm so excited for my wet eyeliners but so worried they are going to run everywhere in summer, I think I will see. I'm currently in winter in Australia but like next week I am in summer in Italy, and I'm worried I'm just going to become a sweaty mess because of the change of weather. I guess we will see how my makeup goes, whether it stays on my face

We've always known about that primer-sunscreen from Marad its the price of the brand. I use K or J beauty sunscreens. I can buy 3-4 of them just as elegant for as much as the one good one from Marad.

If you layer duraline over top of the water activated liner it makes it waterproof.

Although I would probably just do the first part where you did the purple over your lids because I am a one and done girl, I don’t have your artistic talent with the small brushes. I also love the pink blush, and all the Fenty lip products! As for your bangs? I had them when I was in my 20s, but I got to the point where I could really only handle them in autumn, I just can’t take the heat with bangs! You’re so pretty either way! 💚💜

The ice cream truck was a big thing when I was little, now kids ignore the truck and go to ice cream stores. Love your bangs,but I'm a bang girl lol. Kaleidos eye shadows and highlighters are great I have most of their palettes except the quads. Cute summer look!
