AMD is a good company with good growth prospects …they have just one huge problems for investors: the share price is hugely overpriced (P/E = around 300) and therefore a meaningful increase of the stock is unlikely even in the mid term. I’ve trimmed my position in February and now I can say it was a good decision
PE is all because of the all stock acquisition that is turning out to be another ATI.
Data center I GPU up 80% = excellent news for AMD and for Nvidia. The Nasdaq drop pushed the whole market down. if you consider AMD and Nvidia beta then their drop is inline with the nasdaq drop. Just some noice, long term is still bright for both.
I will hold my shares until the end of 2025, i expect the company reach 250£ a share 🤞.

AMD is getting NVDA crushed. Hopefully the May 22 earnings can revive it.
That didn't work out. if I were a ceo that made as much as lisa su does I would secretly hang my head over all the dreams her shareholders have lost believing in her.. Jenson from nvidia loves his shareholders and is doing all he can to crush amd which he is doing. amd is a bottom feeder.
AMD cpu's in the datacenter are far an away superior to what Intel has. Most industries like banks , insurance companies etc are still fairly conservative so it will take them time to switch over from Intel over to AMD however there cost and consolidation options that going with AMD offer that they will not be able to deny. At the forefront these firms might not yet need or want to go with custom DPU or domain-specific chips like Amazon or MSFT might want however this is where the meat of the market is.
Secondly the MI300 might not be as fast as what Nvidia offers yet however AMD has plenty of wafer allocation with TSMC as well as access to their newer nodes so it should mean that they are still a growth contender as the industry balloons.
I would like to see your face when AMD comes out with a GPU that far exceeds NVIDIA's Blackwell.
So would I as it is my second biggest position

How about the 800 million stock buyback after the acquisition? How about lisa su going to make amd a lot of money? How about the best is yet to come? Sold chips during a chip shortage. Been treading water ever since. Only one making money is her. amd has no money to compete with nvidia.
I don't think you see the potential of AMD. I think it's also possible that AMD can currently be developing what NVIDIA is currently developing. AMD does not have to catch up to Blackwell, AMD can bypass and exceed Blackwell. Remember, you are just a youtuber who does not know the company inside development plans.

no company that has come out with new chips has compared them to blackwell
they all get compared to h100

AMD 1 year target estimate is 172 dollar based on Yahoo finance
Estimates were lowered after last lack of any meanifull earnings.
Why Nvidia is down today?
I already seen from Mid March that AMD is showing me that it'll go down. My charts might not always be perfect but for me it was really looking like that. I remember thinking, "Finally" I was hoping this would happen sooner or later.

The data center narrative is over. It cracked when ASML reported 75 fabs sold vs 125. Today, we all know data center and ai = semis. Completely cyclical. Q4 will rock. But Q1 is almost always horrible for semi.

AMD is big bubble. CEO Has sold stock, now it will become another Intel, not Nvidia
amd needs a new CEO, not a talker and underperformer like lisa su. Her key note speech yesterday tanked the stock yet again. It's always next product or next year for amd investors. No shareholder value since 11/21. Their big share dilution acquisition has yet to bear fruit. lisa su is listening to the wrong people. They probably all hold Nvidia, a company that delivers. either that or securently lisa su works for Nvidia. I wouldn't doubt that all the stock options they throw at her have found their way to Nvidia stock.
