History of Mitha Tiwana district khushab Pakistan

Origins. Mir Ali Khan, the founder of the family, settled at Okhali Mohlah in the district of khushab in the mid 17th century. In around 1680 his son Mir Ahmad Khan built Mitha Tiwana.MITHA TIWANA is situated between the cities of Sargodha and Mianwali, near the river Jhelum.Mitha tiwana consists of agricultural lowland plains, Parts of the Thal desert touch the district, which has a breadth of over 70 miles (110 km) and is situated between the Indus river and the Jhelum river.Tehsil Khushab has 18 Union councils and 5 Municipal Committees: and Mitha tiwana one of them Municipal Committees.
