Death Dealer Ray is the best choice but he is exclusively used on PVP, second is C. Lilias/M.Kawerik, both of them used either on PvP/PvE(Ancient Inheritance = Guild seasonal event), C.Lilias requires kinda high speed gear.
TLDR: Go for what you like, C.Lilias not that easy to build to beginners, DDR is meta and M.Kawerik is a good unit that cleanses and do dmg
