So sad to hear of Marcus' passing. He was a true gentleman and limitless source of information on all kinds of instruments, not just the concertina. I loved vesting his store at Tredegar and he helped me a lot (with a great deal of patience) back in the 1980s when I was trying to make a name for myself in the folk world. I hear that Marcus Butler passed away on 11/11/2021. He was a creative, dynamic personality and he will be greatly missed.
