Excellent review. Does the watch tracks total calories or only active calories? I had the previous version, and it only gave me the active calories. Thank you.
I had this watch but sent it back. It is stunning but you can't change the notification sounds or alarm tone. You're stuck with one standard Huawei tone which really seems crazy. Also you can't reply to messages (preset replies) like you can on the Galaxy Watch which it was bought to to replace. Great review! Thanks. I love the watch, the presentation, the humour and the Russian Blue! I noted that you used NFC with a Huawei phone; however, I've read that this watch does not support NFC! Or at least I read that it's not possible to pay for things in shops using it as I can with the phone. How do I find out more details? It would be very convenient to be able to link a credit-card to it! So, thanks again. I'm hoping to get one very soon now!
I can't believe that in the video you tried to take a SPO2 reading on TWO occasions, and both times you didn't wait and show how long it took and how it was displayed.
@@ASBYT Agreed, and no time for that in real life either. This is why it's important to let people know what they are letting themselves in for, and why some of us are looking through review videos in the first place. i.e. to put the specs aside and see it actually work. I'm trying to find a watch that can offer SPO2 measurements with the same speed and accuracy as my cheap finger clip meter. This issue aside, thanks for the review. It's been helpful!
Thanks for the review. I am using the 2nd generation. I already ordered this one because of the sapphire glass that won't scratch, the titanium body and the ceramic back cover. Truly awesome.
Amazing sporty and fancy look, but the heart rate sensor is not accurate unfortunately, so if u r too much into exercising, don't count on it, you will still need the accurate heart rate sensor, I compared many times with the strap belt,
Do we get both nebula grey and night back in single package ? Is there a combo straps available Also ,can It be reversed charge with oneplus 8pro or only works with huawei phones?
It is a very nice watch, I bought it after the glass of my GT2e cracked. But it had issues from day one. The heartrate is not fast. In fact in some modes it doesn't even register it. Boxing mode, my heartrate doesn't go above 80 and it reports only warm-up. My GT2e gives the exact rates. I googled this issue and I'm not the only one who noticed this. So, what's the use if Huawei claims to have 100 sportsprogramms on this watch, if it is not reliable? I saw people who wrote that they don't buy any Huawei watch anymore because of this, because their Garmin works better. I know that it is only the GT2 pro that has this problem. Everything else works fine. For me, if I had known this, I would not have bought the watch. Besides: about my GT2e. I saw on a RUclips film that my cracked glass is most likely just the protective layer, which is removable and replaceble. In the shop where I went they said it could not be replaced. But I already ordered the protective glass covers and will try myself. Only because of this I bought the nice looking GT2 pro. Allas... its heartrate monitor is too sluggish. If you want it for that.... go for the GT2e or even the GT-C81 (my first Huawei) both cheaper and deliver good results.
Really liking the content, the watch is great but too pricey for me, so I was looking for an affordable one and I got mine from watchplaystore, google them, fast delivery plus it has a lot of premium smartwatch features and a great design plus a pricepoint that is a lot more acceptable than this one for me :D
I'm an Apple user and have recently bought the GT2 Pro. I'm loving the watch but have one issue, with the iOS notifications that come through to the watch, they don't tend to automatically disappear when they come through, which means every time I get a notification I have to push the button to get the time back. Is there any solution to this do you know?
I currently have an Apple S6. I'm using it on the family share as I have a Oneplus 7. I am waffling between getting an iphone or swapping to an android friendly watch. I love the Apple watch and haven't found anything that compares to it. Thoughts? Suggestions? I'm in the US.
Oppo watch is what I think the best option for you as a Oneplus user....similar design as the apple watch but running on Android Wear OS so it will work brilliantly with your Oneplus phone
It doesn't have the features of an iPhone or a Galaxy watch but... it has the best GPS and heart counter in my opinion, lots of activities, I can control music, the phone quality is superb and battery life is great. I've got a watch GT2 that I'm now selling for £80 almost new
I really like its design with a titanium body, crystal sapphire glass and ceramic backing. Anyway, my Galaxy Watch is still good although tits battery life has a little bit problem, so I think I have to resist and wait for another year.
What's the battery life like when GPS mode is engaged for recording an MTB ride? How do you think this compares to Garmin Fenix 5 which is what I was also looking at for MTB riding.
I have the GT2 and have been checking out the GT2 Pro and considering updating. The GT2 has hundreds of faces and presume they are probably compatible with the Pro. I use the GT2 to make and answer calls which is a big plus for me because if I'm ever going to drop my phone, it's when I put it in or take it out of my pocket. I can also avoid getting fined for using my phone while driving. I've had 3 Samsung and 3 Apple smartwatches the latest being Samsung 3 and Apple watch 4. The Huawei for me is wayyyyy better. From what I have been seeing updating to the Pro will not be worth it. I just hope Huawei keep their existing firmware current and not make users update to their new HarmonyOS. If it ain't broke don't fix it. :)
Did anyone know a self winding watch works well, tells time and doesn't have to be connected to a phone via an app that requires you to join and become a member. Its really great pressing the button to know the time and it tells you to connect to your phone but make sure you turn on the bluetooth or it can't tell you the time. Amazing, I just found out my phone tells me the time without a watch.
Amazing free watch faces! Design is fantastic! Long lasting battery! Accurrate measurement of SpO2 and Heart rate and so many different types of workouts. Great Gt2 Pro!
The GT2 Pro looks nice but is a shitty watch for your heartrate monitoring. I wrote about it 3 months ago and ever since I have been trying and still have the same problems. Today: I finally managed to use the watch during bicycle trips. When we were half way, I stopped the program and started it again two hours later going back home.... it just refused to measure my heartrate. It was around 83 when I turned on the healthapp and as soon as I started it dropped to 63 and never came over 79 until around half an hour later where it was registering the heartrate. I do shadow boxing and fencing in VR, now the shadow boxing was working (I first used the boxing program which didn't work at all), but fencing? Nothing. It refuses monitoring the heart rate. Maybe I'm doing everything wrong, but it is very difficult to make the watch working. My GT2e was a lot easier.

Still wearing mine. One nick on the titanium after 18 months. Otherwise perfect
Ordered mine tonight...£229 with free hauwei wireless air buds.....Nice
Hey bro long time no see !
Good to see you dude (seriously) 👍
Thanks for the review. I am using the 2nd generation. I already ordered this one because of the sapphire glass that won't scratch, the titanium body and the ceramic back cover. Truly awesome.
Nice explanation and ur voice is awesome
Definitely the best watch..satisfied user
Amazing sporty and fancy look, but the heart rate sensor is not accurate unfortunately, so if u r too much into exercising, don't count on it, you will still need the accurate heart rate sensor, I compared many times with the strap belt,
Do we get both nebula grey and night back in single package ? Is there a combo straps available
Also ,can It be reversed charge with oneplus 8pro or only works with huawei phones?
Pretty cool watch
One question, what about pairing with iOS, would it be a good option???
I’m think of either GT2 or GT2 Pro, is the PRO worth the extra $200? Thx
Only you can answer that question for yourself.
Does it auto track the activity we are doing etc jogging walking, basketball, hiking
Really liking the content, the watch is great but too pricey for me, so I was looking for an affordable one and I got mine from watchplaystore, google them, fast delivery plus it has a lot of premium smartwatch features and a great design plus a pricepoint that is a lot more acceptable than this one for me :D
Bot
@@GNt-kl4ro erm i don’t think bots have this kind of well written english tbh 😂 idk looks okay to me tho
@@FExpiate just watch him asking where Sarah Connor is next 😂
@@GNt-kl4ro Im a friend of Sarah Connor, I was told that she's here
🔥🔥🔥 hoping to have that kind of watch
What is the reliability of gt2 pro vs garmin? Steps, hr, sleep tracking, gps? Thx
Can you take calls directly on the watch when connected to iPhone? Does the watch have mic and speaker for directly handling Cellular calls?
Nice video and nice watch :)
Most classic smart watch
Hi, What's the difference between huawei watch gt2 pro and huawei watch gt2 pro sport?
Can you do review on Huawei watch fit 🙂🙂
I currently have an Apple S6. I'm using it on the family share as I have a Oneplus 7. I am waffling between getting an iphone or swapping to an android friendly watch. I love the Apple watch and haven't found anything that compares to it. Thoughts? Suggestions? I'm in the US.
Oppo watch is what I think the best option for you as a Oneplus user....similar design as the apple watch but running on Android Wear OS so it will work brilliantly with your Oneplus phone
Thanks for great knowledge. I actually like round watchers. This will help me to decide. Thanks
Thanks please i will like to know if the calculations of the calories is OK?
I wish they make a smaller version of this for small-wrist-guy like i am. 46mm is humongous
Hi is it compatible with other smartphones?
I have an oppo find X 2 pro
Great phone
Yes, it is.
I have paired with an OnePlus 7T Pro.
I'm using it with the Umidigi Power, works flawlessly
Thanks for the super fast response , it only took you a year 👍🏽
It doesn't have the features of an iPhone or a Galaxy watch but... it has the best GPS and heart counter in my opinion, lots of activities, I can control music, the phone quality is superb and battery life is great.
I've got a watch GT2 that I'm now selling for £80 almost new
Can it count total calories for a day? Rest plus moderate (steps ) plus workout? Cainda important for diet.
The health function like blood sugar level and blood pressure facilities could we get ?
Hi, can you please advise if any of these watches support Google Pay?
Is it worth getting if you’ve got an iPhone or should I get an Apple Watch instead?
Do you need an app for it? Can you get that app on the playstore? These are the 2 things needed to know before anything else.
I have one question of huawei watch? Do i have to use huawei phone to have all programs working well or can i use other android phone?
Great review.👍👍👍
I like it. As a sport watch My Garmin Phenix 6 is better but as far as everyday use the Huawei is the most convenient easiest watch to use.
Whats the disadvantages when i connect it to iPhone??
Could you please guide me how to use the navigate back option? I can't find it
I'm waiting for the release of watch GT2 Pro ECG!
Is this a real thing??
Did anyone know a self winding watch works well, tells time and doesn't have to be connected to a phone via an app that requires you to join and become a member. Its really great pressing the button to know the time and it tells you to connect to your phone but make sure you turn on the bluetooth or it can't tell you the time. Amazing, I just found out my phone tells me the time without a watch.
Amazing free watch faces! Design is fantastic! Long lasting battery! Accurrate measurement of SpO2 and Heart rate and so many different types of workouts. Great Gt2 Pro!
Reliable and humurous, the kind of resource I'm looking for!
Does it work on Apple phone iOS.
It supports ios now, yes
Which is better this or the Honor GS Pro?
Nice review. What's your wrist circumference please?
