I’m really glad that this season they didn’t shy away from the civil rights movement and showed us how different, life was for one of the siblings (allison) because of segregation. I’ve seen reactors pretty much silent during those scenes because they’re uncomfortable, but I think they’re necessary as a reminder of those times and how far we’ve come and also how far we haven’t. Also klaus and Dave 🥹
they (the producers) were stupid enough to literally just forgot that the segregation would apply to Diego and Lila tho. Allison isn't the only coloured character on the show.

It’s never stated in the show but it’s obvious that Harlen is on the spectrum. Kids on the spectrum have trouble understanding social queues and therefore looks like they are little brats but in reality just have no way of communicating what they want and this leads them to harm themselves or other, such as Harlen hitting his own head or when he bit his mom. FYI Violence against them doesn’t help AT ALL. It just confuses them. They don’t understand why they are getting hit for doing something bad because in their mind they haven’t done anything bad. They just lashed out in the moment because they couldn’t communicate what they wanted and understandably got frustrated.

I think this is the best season so far. each character's stories are well done and there are things happening all the time that don't let the plot get boring.

The hotel room was a reference to the Shinning. The bathroom the handler was having a bath it resembles the one from the movie and the number 217 on the key it’s the room number on the book but in the movie was change to 237.
S1 was a lot about introducing new characters and finding the right tone for the show. And now that they've done that, the show is a lot more open about one general storyline and smaller ones/storylines to each character. In other words S2 is a huge step up compared to S1. And without spoling too much, Lila grows on you... she's probably one of my favorite characters ;P
I don’t agree that klaus has had the most, I think it’s klaus Vanya and five. Massive spoilers ahead by the way. Five: had to watch his family die once at 13, then spend 45 years alone, turned into a killer by the handler, watch his family die again, not get a break from the apocalypses, all on top of his childhood trauma they all share Vanya- was always ignored and put down, drugged up all her life, found out she had powers, ended the world, then got amnesia, and had to relive it all. Klaus- his trauma is the most ignored. He is constantly put down even when he’s sober, watched Dave die, lived through war, thought he made Ben stay, and battling addiction. And also the comments about Harlan in this are extremely insensitive.

Well, honestly I don’t think it is. It’s not confirmed in the show (maybe it is in the comics, I haven’t read it), but I think that Luther’s strenght/resistance might be determined by how much he believes in himself and his self confidence. I’m saying that because when Luther took the tank round on his back and felt nothing, he seemed really confident and good (he was screaming like a warrior, and wasn’t wearing his shirt). Later in the season, he got killed by the handled with simple bullets (I think at this time he was feeling pretty "normal" confidence, which visibly didn’g make him bullet proof), and when he got K.Oed by a "simple" human (the guy was still huge), he was at an all time low in confidence and was letting him hit him. On top of that, what really makes me believe that confidence is the base of his strenght is that when he was fighting Lila, she said to him "Gotta believe in yourself big boy!" when she stopped a hit with only one hand. I mean, even if she copied his power she should still be weaker because Luther is way bigger physically, but he seemed to struggle and she didn’t, and she was clearly confident and knew how to use every power she copied, so she probably also knew the base ofLuther’s strenght and how to use it. It’s just a theory, but if it’s true it would make sense in my opinion.
