      @@ramonagoodman3811 Even with a driver and matron it still happens, research it. I'm so glad she's suing, so many students become victims on these buses either by another student, other students, matron, driver. Be careful with your children on the bus and in schools. Some children are special needs and can't tell their parent's what's happening to them. Her son is going to need a lot of therapy and medical attention from this. Grown men who are attacked in prison commit suicide from this, he's only a little boy. Horrible, how did the driver not notice? Is he hard of hearing, blind, doesn't have a rearview mirror?

The Aldine ISD is one of the worse in the nation for this type of violence and brutality and negligence. That is a sad statement that children could witness this and not speak out to help the 6-year-old child. Even if it meant telling an adult away from the bus. You shouldn't put your grandchild on a bus or have them in public school period, these incidents aren't rare. Aside from the pervs, there's the bullying and kids who get beat up and harassed on buses. When my eldest was in kindergarten, a little girl was discovered to be a repeated assault victim by the bus driver on the VERY SAME BUS my child was assigned to. I typically drove him and picked him up, thank goodness. But I decided to homeschool about a week into 1st grade, he's a high school sophomore now and we're still homeschooling along with his younger siblings.

Unfortunately 99% never make the news and the offender is just "disciplined" (not even always removed from the school). Its not always older children doing it to younger children. Its often kids of the same age offending against classmates. You have no idea the background of the kids you're sending your children to school with. Many are getting abused at home and come to school and do the same to others. I don't know why anyone that has the ability to homeschool wouldn't do it. You wouldn't leave your wallet alone around strangers for 8 hours a day but do it with your children.

      Also make sure you have open communication with your kids regardless. Talk to them about their day, every day, and show that you’re listening (not while you’re half paying attention to something else). Don’t blow up on them about little things, or they’ll be afraid to tell you if anything goes wrong, even if it isn’t their fault. I had a mom that would scream at, belittle, and punish me for every little mistake, and therefor when my babysitters teenaged nephew, someone who I looked up to and trusted, started assaulting me one summer when I was only about 6, it was easy for him to convince me that I’d be the one getting in trouble if I told anyone. I’m well into adulthood now, and nobody knows till this day. Heck, I’m still convinced that my mom would blame me if I told her today. When you teach your kids that they have lesser value or are to be mistreated when they make minor mistakes, they then think they can’t trust you with knowing about anything that might trigger you. Establish a relationship with your kids where they trust you more than anyone on earth (fear does not equal trust nor respect) , and they’ll be far more likely to tell you immediately if someone tries something like this, or even if someone tells them something that seems odd/off.

Then it will really show who are the parents that are taking their responsibilites serious as parents or are just pushing their duties onto others in society to do their job of parenting. This is so sad and frustrating that stuff like this still happens. 11 years ago I myself was molested almost everyday throughout kindergarten at the age of 5 on a school bus by the person who was sitting next to me and the other kids wouldn’t do anything. She would tell me to do explicit stuff I didn’t want to do and touch me in ways I didn’t like, if I didn’t do these things she would physically assault me. I couldn’t fight back or tell anyone bc she would threaten me. I was near the back of the bus and there were no school staff except the driver who was driving the bus present. I remember I once came home sobbing crazy, I was too scared to tell my parents what had happened and Its still a heavy topic to talk about. I still haven’t told my parents about what I endured🥲 bc at this point there’s not much they can do about it, I don’t even remember the persons face or name bc I had suppressed the memory for so long and it just came back a couple of years ago. It’s still very painful to know that nothing can be done now and experiences like this mess you up for life, even eleven years later I’m still dealing with the after math of this. My heart goes out to that child and his family. I really hope that he gets counselling that he will need. I also hope that the perpetrator gets the appropriate punishment and possibly treatment they need as well. If not for the missing backpack, this abuse may have continued and that is so frightening.

      It's a bus. Kids sit everywhere including the back? Such a dumb question.

    • @Brushedbymorgan
      @Brushedbymorgan Год назад +14

      So most school in America put younger kids in front either by the school bus aid. Or because if they need help evacuating the bus it’s a safety issue if the adult on the bus to evacuate the children is at the front and the children in need of assistance as at the back of the bus. In America children most school bus companies have these rules in place in order to carry insurance so not a odd question at all.

      @@rosered9692 your clearly uneducated on the fact that legally by insurance standards and by school policies in the United States younger children need to be in the front of the bus where there’s assistance if there’s an emergency to evacuate the vehicle there’s also stand on airplanes children can’t sit by the emergency exits or by themselves they have to be with somebody on public transportation or buses a public transportation. And I have younger children I have never in my life seen a school bus and we’ve lived in for school District my son is in second grade I lived in New York I lived in Texas I lived in Wisconsin I have friends I have little kids when your kids are in kindergarten and pre-K first grade 2nd grade 3rd grade are on the front of the bus now I only saw the other kids are messing with them but so that they have eyes on them as far as the bus driver if there isn’t a bus aide on the bus even if there is a bus say they should be sitting with a busted because the bus is on there to assist the kids I can’t sit on South would usually have the kids are in the younger grades and I would suggest a six year I would be that age range

    Many times a victim is subject to the will of the person who assaulted them, mind manipulation. He was being groomed to think it was okay.

    Parents please pay attention to your children. I can only imagine the signs that this child was displaying that was overlooked that could have stopped this a head of time. I think all bus drivers should have an assistant/aide that can check on the kids during bus rides .

    I would be the most dangerous woman on the street if this was my kid!! Mom needs to stay COOL- at least on camera because if it was me and millions of other mothers would be out for blood right now!! And by the way mom is keeping herself in control which is a good thing but I can't imagine what she's going through or her child for that matter
