Hi! Thinking about going to Madison, how do you like the school so far figuring it’s a PWI and getting involved in like school spirit,etc?
Hi there! I personally LOVE UW. I grew up and went to a high school that is in a predominately white town, so navigating UW as a POC is not something I am unfamiliar with although it can be difficult at times. I have gotten involved and formed multiple supportive communities by joining clubs and student organizations, getting an on campus job, joining a sorority, and reaching out to people in my classes to make friends. UW fortunately has over 300 clubs and student organizations so it is extremely easy to get involved and the school has a TON of school spirit. Hope this helps! :)
