ACCORDING TO ACTS 11/ 26 THE LITTLE FLOCK CHURCH CALLED THEMSELVES CHRISTIAN FIRST AT ANTIOH AND THEY CEASED TO EXIST WHEN THE BODY OF CHRIST BEGAN TO EXPAND AND ESTABLISHED. Modern Biblical scholars (meaning those who have studied texts discovered after 1611) have concluded that only seven of "Paul's" letters were actually written by him. Does that change anything.
I basically believe what you said but you left out some extremely important scriptures from Paul's Epistles! 1. Galatians 2.20-21 KJV "I am Crucified with Christ: nevertheless l live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me. 21. I do not frustrate the Grace of God: for if righteousness come by the Law, then Christ is dead in vain". In Galations 1:8-9 "But though we, or an angel from Heaven, preach any other Gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed 9. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed". 90%+ of these 1000+ so-called Christian denominations (no such word in the entire Bible) commingle before the Cross with after the Cross ie Law with Grace! In Matthew 10:5-6, 15:24 Jesus (Jesus in the flesh) Himself tells us who He was sent to - The lost Sheep of the House of Israel. There's so much more I could say!
What is an adopted son .ans someone adopted by the father in heaven .some who has had the father revealed to him through the son.without dependency on any work that he can do.
So, in answer to the question: "What is a Christian?", your answer is "Someone who is saved"; and, "salvation" comes from believing? So, a "Christian" is someone who sits around on their butt all day in a state of "savedness"! I believe you missed part of the verse you quoted from 2 Timothy (not one of the genuine epistles from Paul, btw). Doesn't it say something about, " a workman that needeth not to be ashamed"? Where I'm from, the workmen who don't need to be ashamed are the ones who are diligent about their "work".
Are your beliefs about who Jesus is,the same as the Catholic church. Do you believe in 1 God 1 spirit ? If there are 3 persons in the Godhead do all 3 have a spirit ?
Wow it really means all that ? Talk about adding to the word. Thought rightly dividing the word of God means to be a workman (to study) not ashamed , rightly dividing the word of truth, mean to understand correctly the right way , not like what you saying lying to those that don't know. You should be ashamed and repent. I challenge you to show that sentence mean that. Do you think you have to do gymnastics to understand the word of God, because that is what you doing. And yes we divide the OT before Jesus and NT after Jesus, its kind of simple there, as you said not hard to understand the Bible.

Apostle Paul says in this dispensation of grace there is no difference between Jew or Gentile.
Its hard for a religious person to accepted that truth.

The whole of the acts period is dedicated to the kingdom of God on earth .the mystery in ephesians came after the closer of acts .
