Moo: At the end that was not shell only, that was the new item custom item and he turn everything off except tripple red and blue shell, that is why it was not position base/ distance base since they switch with each other probebility of apperance even with the probability of apperance of the missing one. If it was really shell only mode, you would have tripple green, single green, tripple red, single red, and blue shell, and coins, in the item selection and that mode is still position/distance base.

I played this game with some friends with only Blueshells and bomb-ombs, and it was the best experience! It was NOT the case in Cartoon Network Racing (PS2) though; for some reason, the super circuits for Cow and Chicken and I M Weasel were bugged in that they were very hard, with the latter being unbearably broken. Just imagine everyone getting triple red shells at the same time and simultaneously launching them all at once, but they act like blue shells, and stun lock you for so long, you’re forced into the back of the horde. I cried because it was so unfair, and I HAD to land in first place or else I wouldn’t unlock additional content. Fortunately the difficulty curve bent in my favor after the Powerpuff Girls track for the I M Weasel super circuit variant. Still, that was not a good time.
