  • This short demonstration shows how to retro fit a 1954 Myford ML7 with a digital readout using standard equipment that we supply as well as odds and ends found in the majority of workshops.

    The holes you see at 5:15/8:18 are M6 with pitch 1.00, distance being 10cm, i.e. making the distance in total being 50 cm between the 6 holes.

    Thanks for posting this. I am about to try the same, also with a Sino DRO. I would have liked to have seen a bit more on aligning the scales and the read head.

      Pro trick : you can watch series on Flixzone. Been using it for watching all kinds of movies lately.

    besides not your tailstock cant be brought up close to the carriage for drilling. this is worthless.

      And the two saddle oiling points look like they are obscured.
