Seriously all the neighbors (maybe not the Southern Realms since we know very little of them) could beat Brettonia silly. The Empire, Athel Loren, SkavenBlight, the vampires, Ulthuan, Norsca most times, and maybe even Albion could beat them.
Funny thing happened on the way to the Empire. I was beating up basically any tribe that came my way to confederate them. Then Be’lakor took issue with me for some reason, so i killed him too. Festus had taken Nordland by the time i made it down there, so i killed him to gain a foothold…at which point Karl Franz offered a non-aggression pact for killing his enemies. That’s when I actually realized the Norsca campaign is 90% fighting the forces of chaos. Praise Wulfrik the Wanderer, savior of the Empire.
Oh. I found a surprising thing. In fact, wulfrik actually have decent update. ...for his kill trait. He had one of the worst trait. Only Charge bonus +10.(louen and settra have +15 and additional bonus.). And now, his kill trait gives your lord anti infantry +5 too! But queek headtaker is also upgraded anti infantry bonus +6 to +10!
Man, I don't understand why there are people that don't want Norsca to go monogod apart of undivided. The God Favor mechanic was made under Wulfrik and Throgg. There is literally no reason for Norsca to not have their own monogod LLs. Same with WoC. Also Norsca needs an expanded roster, have the outpost and inability to take over non-faction capital and non-port settlements thrown away (the reason Norsca hates the Empire is because the latter kicked them out into the north in the past and the northmen want those lands, not to mention that there are Norscans living in the Empire who aren't Chaos), ADDED WALLS, the Everchosen trait modded and a whole lot more. I don't want them to be monkeys. Maybe make them also a hybrid faction like the vampirates...
The real problem with wulfrik is his campaign: horrible experience having one of the coolest rosters ever. Even now that he has better skills now (even better if you put that skill mod,-13 leadership, insane), their early is a punishment for them. They have many contradictory mechanics, like why the hell you put in the blue skill line that +growth skill? is inviting to players to make wulfrik stay in norsca trying to make at least t4, instead of rush 19 barbarians to sack easy money.And like i said in other comment: make the sack option in settlement a growth reward for all their territories (since they can only conquer their own territory and coast, its fair enough).
This. All they had to do was giving growth to sacking so it would add to the campaign of playing fucking raiders. Even better, make it so that sacking also gives them public order so that we wouldn't need to fight rebelions a the time

Yeah, sure, the units of Norsca are strong, like the Berserkers, Skin Wolves, Fimir Warriors, Mammoth and Throgg's bois. All of them are quite good actually. But other than that, everything are just pure trash. Oh and they are super poor, so that's another reason to bonk the Everchosen.
