Yep. She was on the Arkansas 4x400 team that broke the WR this weekend, then runs the 2nd fastest indoor 400M EVER. Imagine she repeats outdoor in the 400M and 400MH and tacks on the 4x400M AND breaks her own fastest split record. And yeah, it's best case scenario but she came very close to the trifecta last year and appears to have only gotten stronger and faster.
This was the race of the championship. It's one thing to break a collegiate record, but to OBLITERATE IT while previously starting the race with a 50.6 PB its stupid impressive. I am Stunned.
Britton is so smooth and overwhelming when she opens up with her very quick yet very long strides on the backstretch, plus she doesnt slow down much if at all in the final 100m
On GOD she’s been legit for a min still shame she hasn’t been getting her plaudits till now when others who do less at the NCAA level gets all sorts of love
Britton has been running the double since high school. She was state champ in both the 400m and 400mh. She won the double in the SEC, two consecutive years. Yes, she's a Beast! All of that while anchoring the 4x400m relay. I thought last year was going to be exactly what this year has become. Perhaps, it all started to display on that third leg at WC 2022. Yes, she ran 2:02 twice indoors...brilliant decision. I'm so excited for all her hard work to translate into a new NCAA 400mh record!
No reason why she can't win nationals if Sydney doesn't run it. Run the 4x4 team back from last year or add athing mu for diggs and you have a world record
@@diskoeric2248 I mean, Miller Uibo and Eid Naser are both sub 49s and Bol just ran a 49.2 INDOORS so she also has a high chance of going under 49s outdoors with Sydney. Wilson still has a good shot if she stays healthy and injury free
I know kids are always dreaming, but we need Wilson, Adeleke, Diggs, Bol and McLaughlin all running 400 in Budapest next year to wipe out that stupid 400m women's WR. It's about time.
Superb run, not any doubt. She is the second fastest of all time! On the other hand your claim she lost time by passing Talitha makes no sense. You could as well say the will to pass Diggs gave her an extra drive. And she passed her on the long track. Hardly a disadvantage. But ok, all speculations. What if doesn’t count.
Is there a reason why the final is two separate heats of four instead of one heat of four? Doesn't make a lot of sense really gives the runners in the second heat a massive advantage.
@@stephentrader9142 Ya that's probably the reason in fairness. I just find it a bit strange given the fact there was only four in the final at the european indoors final last weekend
I think the lanes are so important in indoors, so they put the four strongest runners in lanes 5 and 6 in two seperate heats and the other four gets lane 3 and 4. At least it looks that way. If it's just four in the final, you almost know that gold and silver is for lane 5 and 6, and lane 3 and 4 can fight for bronze. (200 and 400) So I find two heats gives more athletes the chance to fight for the win. (Boling for example wouldn't be in the final with the four best in a final from the semifinal - but he still won the final from the first heat...)
She ran the 400mh at trials and finished fifth. Only the top three make the team. She did not compete for the open 400m. Side note: probably coaching...hence the transfer from Tennessee to Arkansas. Pure speculation on my part
Hello world, meet Britton Wilson! Such a smoothly run race.
People already knew about her
@@Dvnwee
Exactly! I guess some people are just catching up!
No introduction needed for me! Been watching her for a bit now.
Yeah she's already famous. She's the only person I recognize here actually
Wow, I’m speechless. She is most definitely deserving of the Bowerman track award…
(A) There is an upcoming outdoor season.
(B) Have you heard of Jasmine Moore?

Do your research.....Wilson was the biggest star 🌟 since HS
Awesome run by Britton. A new star for years to come.
She is SO talented and such a sweetheart, too.
Britton Wilson is not only a 400 hurdler but she’s been running the 800 this year and she’s ran 2:02
Lmfaoo coach unleashed her for 400

Wow Britton you go girl! And she seems like simply a wonderful human being too.
She is as funny as Tara ,and so humble...i cannot wait to see them in Paris.
Wilson really could be a top contender in the USA 400m team for 2023 World Championship.
she just ran the 2nd fastest time ever. "could be?"

Congratulations Rhasidat. Brilliant performance. Greetings from Ireland where we are so proud of you.
She is such a sweetheart
N bouy is she smooth.
Huge fan since her 4x400 leg and 5th from lane 1 in the 400mH. Wonderfully fluid form. Best form since Alonzo Babers
Wow, good chance she'd have run a world record if she hadn't had to run wide to pass Diggs.
It took Bol several races to break that record. Britton spent the season running further distances. Britton definitely can break that record.
@@dr.pacohintonjr.8988 At what altitude lies this track?
Or maybe she run that fast because Diggs was in the race...
Wow...absolutely great job, congrats Britton ,
Those 800s she tan this season paid off! She is STRONG! I’m so excited to see her kill outdoor season.
Congratulations! Great All American Versatile Team Player. The Future Is Bright! 🏆
So proud of her
the collegiate record before this year was 50.3
she took almost a full second off of that. INSANE!
Ooh my goodness' no one expected this she's close to Bol rec another outstanding US athlete
49 indoors🧨🧨
Holy crap! That's insane! Good work!
That's how u finish a 400m 🔥
Awesome run!
Britton is eleite 👏🏾 the 400m hurdle field is stacked but I think she’ll be on a podium if she stays healthy by worlds
OMG a 49.48 Wow and indoors! She blew away the NCAA record...
Britton was as phenomenal in this 2023 Indoor Championship as she was in the 2022 World Championships!
Fantastic run.
She should run the open 400m at USAs ... she can definitely medal at Worlds.
Britton is that girl!! WOW she is a finisher she closes harder than anyone male or female!!
Britton is just so relaxed running. Talitha has to learn to run more relaxed
So how's she doing this year? Feeling healthy?
That was amazing!
Class act!
Imagine if she didn't have to pass too... possibly a 49.2-49.3

Without a pass was certainly worth .1 to .2 aat minimum
Commentator: She has to put up a time that will beat Talitha diggs who runs in the 2nd heat.
Britt. Hold my spikes 💨💨
Imagine sydney with wilson and mu and steiner on a 4x400 . If they don't break the world record it's not getting broken 😂
Go Hogs !!!!
Stay a sweetheart!
Fast fast
Wooooow
