- For our first boondocking (or dry camping) experience, we headed up to Redding Californa, and stayed at Whiskeytown Lake in the horse camp campsite. This place is great for secluded camping for larger rigs. Although, the dirt path to get there is a bit steep and dicey (4wd required if your trailer is really heavy), once you're up, its very wide open, and nice and secluded. Cell reception was okay, making calls worked fine, data was pretty slow. We absolutely loved it there, and we will probably come back again someday. Bring your swimsuit, hiking shoes, and mountain bikes! Lots of awesome trails to explore.
Don't give up! You never know who is watching you and you're story is giving them inspiration 🙏❤
Thank you
Hey Dan and Jenna, keep Rockin' and Rollin'. My wife and I were full time for 7 years, no better way to spend your life! It's always something. The only difference between adversity and adventure? Attitude! You guys have great attitudes!
Thanks so much!
Wow, you guys have some cute kid you guys are truly bless, now you talking my language now you went to church, awesome.

Praying that God will bless your time and your ministry during this current adventure!

Love that 335 style Bass you made, and Hope y'all will be back soon with out any Covid19 issues!
Your little one is so precious. She kind ok reminds me of a young Shirley Temple.
Thank you! She gets that ALL the time. Haha
Great channel! You all are.super fun and cute. Wishing you all many adventures and fun ahead!
Thank you! Same to you all!
Spent 2 weeks in Redding for WorshipU at Bethel. My wife and I, girlfriend at the time, went to Whiskeytown Lake at least 5 times in the 2 weeks we were there. Loved it and can’t wait to go back. Thanks for the video, brought back some great memories!
Thank you for the update. I am a fellow home schooler. But our home did not move. Enjoy these years. They go by very fast. When you are young and in the middle of it all you won't think so. God bless you.
Thank you! We are absolutely doing our best to soak it all up. It’s part of the reason we are doing this!
Nice to see you are still out there! It had crossed my mind a week or so ago that I hadn't seen any new videos for a while.
Had just emailed you Dan as had not seen or heard about your adventures praise Jesus that you are firstly ok and secondly for the fact that you share venerably your journey and with God in the centre ALL THE TIME. bless you all.
Just found y’all! Enjoyed what you’ve shown so far and looking forward to next video!
Love the update! And love y’all so much! ♥️🥰
Love you back!!!!
God bless!🙏🙏🙏🙏
Adventure of a lifetime folks.
You're kids look like they're making some great memories and enjoying it as much as you.
Perfect age to do this (don't know how it'd go with my 15 and 17 year old son and daughter) 😉
Thanks for sharing.
All the best and take care.
Fantastic! I love it!
We will be in the Redding area this summer - I’ll have to put this on our list!
It’s beautiful! You will love the area!
That's so cool that you and your wife have your own mini me's ☝️
So true!!! Hahhaa
I enjoy these vlog things. Sure hope it becomes easier to travel and film... Singing Jesus Loves Me is great to hear also.
Love the homeschooling !
Yay! I found y’all 😁👍🏻
Check out , keep Your Daydream! They have a great rv channel , like yours 👍🏻
We love Marc and Trish!
Just sending some love in the comments!
Thank you so much!!
What's the solar kit you guys have? Thanks!
It wasn’t a kit, it was a professional installation. I don’t own this rig anymore but if I recall correctly, it was renogy 200 watt panels, 6 mighty max agm batteries, and a magnum 2500 watt inverter with charge controller. There may have been more stuff but I don’t remember.
Many so called free camping areas are now being restricted. Many long timers with channels are now moving into the homesteading community. The RUclips RV lifestyle has jumped the shark. Idaho authorities will definitely confront anyone with out of state plates, unless you are in a designated fee camping area.
Thanks for the tip.
Is there a website or app that helps direct where to find these boondocking areas as you go along your travels?
Yes! We use a lot of them but our favorite is Campendium!
Was there a length restriction?? I heard the national parks have length restrictions for RV's?? I've been nervous about that!
No, this was the horse camp at Whiskeytown , and was for bigger rigs and horse trailers.
@@RockinandRollin awesome! Thanks! That's awesome! We will have to check it out! We have the America the beautiful pass and want to get some good use out of it!!
PS: did you guys get a new rig?!?
Oh we LOVE our pass. Just renewed it this month and got beyond our money’s worth! It’s such a handy pass to have!
We did get a new rig! We are almost caught up on videos and will be able to show it off soon! It’s still huge! 😆
Come South Georgia
Georgia is on the list for sure! One of these days....
Good maybe they will arrest all the looters!!
😂
