@LoopsLoveHate Tbh Tencent as infamous as it is, it doesn´t really feel they are to blame entirely this time, there´s lots of games that are under tencent that don´t try to make you spend like clash royale does, even their sibling game CoC is an example, they give the money and distribution for the games to the studios, but they are just the investors in many cases and they aren´t the ones choosing how the game will monetize on this case, this time i really feel is mostly the CR devs at fault

An example of it is Reverse 1999, a gacha game under Bluepoch Interactive that recieved investment from Tencent. The game remains solely under the executive jurisdiction of Bluepoch, and it is currently considered one of the most F2P friendly among the current popular gacha games.

They are not obligated to pay royalty. Creators earn through RUclips, and legally Supercell can ask for royalty from creators because they are using their game to stream and earn. (Btw I uninstalled CR on the day they announced Level 16. Also gave a 1 star review on Google play store)

And showing full gameplays is not covered under fair use unless the game developer permits it. Since I am preparing for Auditor Exams i have studied some laws. I dont have copyright act in my syllabus but i gave my opinion on the basis of other Corporate, business and contract laws. (Also Laws change country to country. Maybe its true in some countries and not in yours. It doesn't mean you can say someone uneducated)

Same, I’d only come back to clash for shits and giggles recently. I didn’t like being lied to about the March 2025 chest system changes being a “rework” when they just straight up deleted it. Almost dropped it immediately because I, having played the game from 2016-2020 initially, just couldn’t deal with something that fundamental being removed.

Heroes are fine. Easier to level tham champions. 2 champions slots i love. It stopped cycle based gameplay. It was level 16 that ruined the game. They need to just make champions into heroes. Remove the rarity all together.

I still only have 1 hero, the knight, which I only have bc they gave away a free hero at random from the original 4, and I am nowhere close to getting a second one.

I’ve played this game since launch, it ain’t the same. All my decks are old school decks I made back in high school. Somehow…..when I returned my old school decks still managed to defend and attack against these new modern troops and strategies.
I just really hope Supercell makes a good update for it’s 10th anniversary (yes, Clash Royale’s 10th anniversary is in like 2 weeks), but everyone has been so negative that everyone forgot that possibility. I’m getting tired off all this negativity in gaming, especially when it’s not fully deserved (the negativity’s pretty deserved rn for clash royale, but for example some people want Nintendo to burn to the fucking ground).

removing lvl 16 is probably not something they can undo because people spent on it. However, they could undo all the progression nerfs over the years and make it reasonable to lv16 a deck, which would improve things for at a bare minimum of 98% of the player base
As gamers we have to demand stuff from the big creators. When it comes to online games, players should have a little say in the decisions, and when it comes to solo games we should make it known that 60-80 dollars for a game is way too much, especially with nintendo
The first time I felt CR Devs were going rogue was when they removed chests from 2v2 wins. Sure they brought it back after a few months but for casual players, which they claim is large portion of playerbase, just lost the little sense of progression they had in stagnant game back then. I used to play 2v2 to get chests so I can level up cards, with no chests I just left the game for 6 months. Looking back at it, that was the first time I was so confused and mad at devs, but now it just makes sense. This was coming now or later because holy shit they still don't get the game nor the playerbase.
It's not just them...us as average players need to stop buying as well the pass with a hero and terrible rewards are the same price as a single broken hero....crazy I am done spending money on this game

Oh, and admit this to you, I usually spend $1000 a year on Clash Royale but this year only $12 in January so I am at least waiting until they cannot rely on money by making it complete the game without money because this month I have spent no money just because of a boy caught and I’ve actually played the game way less only like two days a week compared to five hours a day

On the other hand, You have to run the same decks as everyone else or you lose, the Tactics thing was cool until they added that one person that wipes out your entire board in less than han 20 seconds forcing you to run that or run assassins and hope for the best. I’m playing 9 years every single day because it was so much fun to create new decks and play against new decks. I also have a Clan that is 9 years old. This account is my most fun thing in free time …. This season is the most shitty Season of all of them! And I’m sad about it….

Seriously, I don't have much issues with lvl16 but the heroes where not well thought of at all. That could have waited until all cards got evolutions.

You have to run the same decks as everyone else or you lose, the Tactics thing was cool until they added that one person that wipes out your entire board in less than han 20 seconds forcing you to run that or run assassins and hope for the best. Game is stale and it is the same crap over and over

I’m playing 9 years every single day because it was so much fun to create new decks and play against new decks. I also have a Clan that is 9 years old. This account is my most fun thing in free time …. This season is the most shitty Season of all of them! And I’m sad about it….
