Nice! I always like the customization that Uturn offers and I ran the Ortofon Blue for a while myself. Great cartridge for the price point. I’m less familiar with the speakers, but owned several sets of Klipsch in my life and they’ve always sounded good and lasted a long time. Sounds like you got yourself a solid system. I hope you enjoy the heck out of it!
Naw, I don't think side-opened outers make sense, then it's slipping out when you're moving it in or out of storage. I'm putting my inner sleeve with the opening to the right and the outer sleeve opening to the top.
I’ve seen me slide out before and that was the end of that for me. It only takes a few seconds to pull a record out when it’s fully sleeved. I don’t mind the extra time, plus I tend to enjoy the artwork more this way. 😉 Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Enjoy the tunes!
What your must-have tool?! Tell me in the comments below! 👇
The spindle hole tool really helps eliminate wow & flutter in my few experiences using it.
@@jaycoleman8062 that’s awesome! Such a useful tool 👍
I'll share your video with my daughter. An anti static brush is always by my turntable. Thanks, and take care.
Having an anti-static brush nearby is a must! Thank you for sharing, have a great day!
My big no.1 is my vintage 'Discwasher' walnut handled brush.
So awesome you still have one! The Groovewasher is close, but not like the OG 👍
Pick up a little container of needle dip gel. Its a gel that you dip your stylus on , it picks up the micro gunk that builds up around a needle.
Another good tool to have. Thanks for calling it out. 👍
I would be interested in the thing you mentioned that tracks when you played things. Keeping things unplayed on the shelf seems like bad luck.
I might have missed it but an important step is to make sure your turntable is level too!
100%! I actually had a turntable level on my desk and overlooked it when putting together the video. Glad you recommended it!
Im interested in the apps and more videos like this. Im new and learning about vinyl about to buy my first setup.

@@VinylLatte At the moment to keep things simple the Uturn custom with the Ortofon Blue with Klipsch The Nines powered speakers.
