Doesn't seem possible that moving the half-diameter to the rhombus side would result in over a 6-fold reduction in the area (from 420 down to 69). But it's true. By doing that, the rhombus becomes tall and skinny.
when I saw these complex numbers I immidiately knew it would be 420 and 69 😂try doing this one in reverse like you did with the rectangle edit: my bad, seems like I confused people by saying complex (I didn't mean the numer i, I meant they were big and weird looking)
I was reading the comment and thought I was stupid because I didn’t saw any sqrt(-1) in them until I realized you meant unreasonably large and convoluted numbers
I get that it's mostly a joke, but I'd like to know how you decide to do certain steps. For example, how are you supposed to recognize 8476 = 4 * 2119? And why keep the root 2119 in the denominator? I just want to know how to solve these on my own next time.
So I run into these. I try them without actually clicking on the video to see how I do. And then I get the answers and I'm like, seriously? What baffles me more is the fact that there's people who actually took the crazy amount of time and went to the lengths of FINDING the exact two numbers in this universe that could generate these conclusions.
Sorry for disturbing you in this math video but would you like to help me to learning English. I am not native English man. And I know here are lot of native English man who can speak English. So which tip you you give to me to learn English speaking? Your suggestion will be appreciable. Thank you for bring your kind attention on my this comment and again sorry for disturbing you.
If it represents the area of one right triangle, it is simple to solve only by multiplying for 4. Resulting in (280√2)/(√√2119). In this case, the labels were needed, he is assuming that the measurements are both of length and not area. Because no one has label of 'u' or 'u^2'. If you assume that one is area, the other will need to be area too, and what the second value of area will represent?
They are 2 meme numbers that show the result was intentional. If the result was 10 and 20, it wouldn't be clear work went into making the final result.

Every ambiguous case problem you do has an answer of 69 and 420. I'm beginning to do some math of my own.

Some interesting ending numbers 😆That being said it was very enjoyable seeing all the rearranging, rewriting, and cancelling!
I love how I knew the answer before watching the video

Yes same thing
the "nicest" in the title makes this obvious too

It was, in fact, not complex... It was purely real

Getting both into the same problem. Well played!
Idk why but i knew that there will be 420 and 69 in this equation😂
i agree, this is indeed the most NICEest rhombus
Bloody 'Ell! I *never* thought that the ambiguous cases would work out both ways like that. 💯💯💯
How long did THIS one take you to come up with? Bravo! Another problem I can never teach in HS.
pure genius. It was total fun :) Thx
I knew where this was going once you said it was ambiguous haha
Amazing video as usual
your ending word 'HOW EXCITING' give me goosebumps .

Exciting indeed!
the moment it revealed the first case has the area of 420, we already know what the answer to the second case is 😂

A question, have you ever accidently incorrectly solved a problem? If so, what happened?
Mind Boggling :)

i didnt see the whole video but im sure that the solution either 69 or 420

I guess I made a mistake the first time through. It works now. 420 & 69.

69 and 420. Elon Musk would love this!
Can you also just find the area of one triangle and multiply by 4 to find the area of the rhombus since all the triangles are congruent?
It isn’t ambiguous at all! It’s half the other diagonal!
why does bro look like crypto luigi
i have finally solved a geometry question, by luck
NICE !
Sorry I'm late. I took the rhombus.
Bro he just proved that sqrt(2)=fourthroot(4)
nice
I am too late to say first :very disappointed emoji:
I knew 69 would be the other answer as soon as I saw 420 as the first.
How do you even do it? 69, 420.
For the first case, because there was 4 similar triangles, I just used the area of a triangle formula, so I did 2 times the base and height to get 420
I get that it's mostly a joke, but I'd like to know how you decide to do certain steps. For example, how are you supposed to recognize 8476 = 4 * 2119? And why keep the root 2119 in the denominator? I just want to know how to solve these on my own next time.
