What I have learned over my 30 years of gaming so far is to buy what you want and don't mess with the cases. Normally if you buy the older rarer guns and equipment music etc they only go up in value and then you may make some cash back when you go and sell that gun or whatever. Basically you get what you want and you can sell it later for a slight lose due to steam taking there cut or the gun went up to cover that and made you a few bucks :)

Let this be a message, if you want cool skins, don’t gamble away your money and try to open them via a case because it’s cheaper to start… at the end of the day the odds you get something good are slim to none and would be way cheaper to just buy the skin off the market place
