I have a Classic and next to my gold top P90 LP, it’s my favorite guitar. Ironically, it’s one of the heaviest guitars I own, despite supposedly being weight relieved. Absolutely love it, though.
I got one on sale for $1999.00, for my son. He started to ignore his chores, so, Daddy has a new Les Paul now, and I love it. So versatile and those '61's!! Woof. Tjey are great.
I have a 2022 honeyburst classic. Very happy with it. Other than the PCB board and push pull options, just as good as any LP standard out there. It’s the same thing essentially
Hi, thanks for the message. I'm very glad to hear that I'm not in the minority in thinking that the Gibson Les Paul Classic is both a Standard plus a customised version in one. It's a great guitar, I agree. The extra complications aren't for everybody (old-school players?), but that's no reason to knock it. Thanks for sharing your experience. Best regards, Dale Harris
I got mine about 2 months ago in honeyburst and it sounds absolutely killer! I was surprised by how much I ended up using the direct to bridge function live and how useful it was :)
The Classics are very good guitars if you don't get crappy ones... I have two Custom Shop ones, a '59 and a '57, and apart from the woodiness and rough playability, my Harrison Lucy Classic isn't that much worse. Despite my CS, I would buy it again at any time...
Ottima chitarra ne ho presa una oggi Cherry Sunburst bellissima, non so proprio regolarla bene, ho suonato sempre Fender Strato adesso sono passati alla Gibson e devo saperla regolare
Ah yes, les paul classic , the cheapo version of the standard, .you did not mention the weight of this actuall guitar for some reason, making me suspect its a hafty bastard.
Hi, thanks for watching and for reaching out. It's no secret. I gave ballpark weights to expect. Mine weighs 10lb exactly. 4.535kg. I hope that this helps. All the best, Dale Harris
Why do you refer to the pickups as "front" and "rear"?, Is that common in your country. Ive always referred to them as "bridge" and "neck" pickups here in the US. Also, its LeS paul, not Lez paul! 😂😂
Why is everyone so grouchy today?! 😉 And is now a good time to mention the USA pronunciation of "soldering" as "soddering"?! Thanks for watching. All the best, Dale Harris
Hi, thanks for watching. My suspicion is that if it was that abhorrent (which I don't think that it is) then I'd have a tough time giving it away. Everything else is down to aesthetics. All the best, Dale Harris

Thin out of Out of phase sounds amazing too. Listen to old blues and that’s the sound

Excellent video! Great job of displaying the features.
I love love my 2021 Honeyburst Classic!
Love my 2021 classic. Ive had a standard also and i much prefer the classic.
What are the differences?

@@EverythingGuitar23good enough for old school players like Jimmy Page or Peter Green? Haha
Les Paul himself loved technology…
Great video!

Does the serial number on this guitar says it is closer to 2023 or closer to 2021 ? Thanks !

The Classic is shait, and that is why Gibson has now discontinued it.

Tell me you're a fool without telling me you're a fool.
How many do you own?
Sounds like you're crying at the lower end of your sentences.
I was recovering from laryngitis.
