I've been playing in one of NKet's groups. Aarden is a tremendously cool world; really balanced while following rule of cool - especially in the wake of minimal magic. And it's just really, really well thought out and intriguing. There are literally dozens of fantasy mushrooms and associated prices, crafting, and other cool effects. 100% I recommend people check this project out

I know this comment is a bit late to the party(just found this after hours of searching for flintlock fantasy and steampunk stuff). Recently I have a really big itch for this kind of stuff, and nothing has been really able to itch it, posibly untill now. I am very exited to see this project grow.
