Strange hobby, but seems like fun for him, glad he found it. Way more healthy than doing illegal substances or blowing it on supercars.
That guy got a lot of humor and is all about the craft: with the money he has, he could contract any professional printer and have these printouts done and delivered, without having to lift a finger. Instead he got a bunch of printers, crates of ink cartridges, tapes it all together on a table, lift them with a bunch of pvc tubes and ropes - like any of us would.
I also love the irony of one of these giant, empty mansions, worth millions - being filled with anime characters and memes taped together on a bench :D
Yeah I gotta respect the creativity and effort in it too. The placement, the variety, the scale, it's downright artistic.
And clearly he's aware of his good fortune, which mollifies a lot of potential resentment.

Honestly, the end part about Aethel's color blindness was the most interesting bit to me. The way other people physically interpret the world has always fascinated me, especially when it is an abnormal condition.
As least one advantage of colourblindness is being able to see camouflage easier
Reminds me of the mental differences between those with Hyperphantasia and Aphantasia. I can literally replicate full images of characters and scenes of movies/games with the former but anyone with with the latter can't really "imagine or picture" their thoughts or content in their mind. Never know if that person your arguing with can't see things the way you do when you tell them something like "Could you imagine how i would look in the situation?". Cause they quite possibly can't in some cases.

The colour blind thing isnt to unusual to me oddly enough, I grew up with someone who couldnt see violet colours(pink/purple/etc) and it seems like Aethel has the same thing with his eyes. After elementary he got so tried to having to explain his situation/people not believing him that he started not to just lie or not mention it as a teen/young adult.

The color blindness thing at the end with Athelstan; when he says he is glad that he doesn't have the blue blindness because it is so different, remember that he already has some colors he doesn't see, so to him it is compounding the issue of removing most of the primary colors out of the image.
So yeah, he probably sees something very, very different than the average viewer

I have the exact same color blindness as Aethel. Life doesn't look gray at all to me though we're good. I didn't see any differences between the pictures except for mouse's.

I knew someone that was color blind but didn’t know he was color blind until his 3rd year of college lol.
All because someone finally asked him if he was putting “crazy colors” on his presentations on purpose. His presentations were always crazy colored and people assumed that he did that because he is a bubbly person.
The shock in his face and his whole class telling us underclassmen what happened had us surprised.
