@@JonIsJustTooLoud there’s a lot of dudes that talk too much on the guitar and don’t say anything… not the case with you though. I’m just a bass player but you’ve influenced me in buying a Martin d28 in your other videos. I really like your style, man. 👍🏻❤️
The sounds came across really well Jon there’s a nice heat to that pedal. I have to say I’m really curious about the dual overdrive and dual distortion versions of this pedal and I look forward to seeing your opinion. I reckon they may add some warmth to my Katana 100. Cheers Jon Brilliant as usual 👍😄❤️
Hello, great playing. I was wondering if this could be used is a solid state amp pedal for going direct into a pa? For example could you plug this into a strymon iridium and it give it a tube flare? Ty in advance.
Hi, thanks for this video ! In your opinion, is this booster better than a simple (less than € 70) Behringer Vintage Tube Monster VT999 (if tou tested this pedal) wich includes an adjustable noise gate + gain + effective Treble, mid and bass tone controls + master volume ?
If you have the opportunity to try the Behringer Vintage tube Monster, put a good compressor in front of it and use the compressor as a booster. Then try the Behringer with gain at zero, you will get a fantastic hot saturated pure tube overdrive sound.
I'm exclusively playing "in the box" using plugins post Covid, but thinking this may add a bit of tube warmth pre interface? What you think? It's $149 on Sweetwater right now with the bigger and more featured Dept10 Dual "Drive & Distortion" preamps now at $199!! I'm starting to think the extra $50 for say... The Dept10 Dual OD? May be the way to go? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Ha! Great demo as always Jon! 🖖

I don’t think this is supposed to work this way.. but you can always try if you want to. Get the Blackstar Amped instead ✌️❤️
Going to buy tomorrow will let you know Jon . I have a MRX power block outputting 450 ma . Would that work or should I use the power supply?
