Clear Spring Coach Pam Crawford is in the middle of the action from pre game all the way to the final buzzer.
Honestly, she's like a 6th man out there, when you watch the game she's up there the entire time.
Crawford has been a head coach in the greater Houston area for almost 30 years and her excitement on the sideline is rivaled only by her Chargers fast paced attack.
We are a pressure team, that is what we do all of our girls are all the same height, we have the speed going for us so we utilize that.
We're a little shaky at first, but we're getting very good at defense. We're a fast team, so once we get the younger players to understand that you can play fast and smart at the same time I think that we'll be stronger.
Clear Springs is looking for a repeat trip to the state tournament, but it's a tougher challenge after losing 7 seniors including 4 who are now playing basketball in college. But Clear Springs still features Paige Tippet who is going to Columbia and perhaps the best point guard in the city in Brooke McCarty who will be playing at Texas next year.
Brooke has to be one of the best players I've ever had the opportunity of coaching, and it's because of her work habits. Her belief and she's so unselfish she knows what it takes to win a game and she knows that it takes more than one. And she's so willing to make everybody around her just as good or work just as hard as she is.
I'm a little nervous but at the same time I'm excited because I get to play in front of my fans my friends and family. It's kind of a good feel because everybody wants to win everybody has the same goal.
The opportunities that are presented at Columbia are endless it was kind of an easy decision for me and we're rebuilding completely, we have a brand new coaching staff and it's in New York City, I mean who doesn't want to go to New York City.
The Big Apple should offer some big opportunities for Paige, but she and the Chargers would like to make one last trip to Austin first. The Clear Springs Girls Basketball Team, this week's Chevy Spotlight.
