Any info on amount of drug reaching patient from so far back on the circuit and thoughts on the increased dead space from that size & number of HMEF. Asking from a PICU transport perspective - thanks
We have seen a lot of success with this set up and is similar to the set up used in the hospital. the aerosol is so fine that we seem to see very little rain out in the circuit.
Nice info., beneficial tutorial video of nebulization via ventilator connection circuit. Thanks for it.

Do you know the purpose of a filter on Insp side??
To protect the ventilator from the medication. If the patient was to cough there is potential the medication could be driven back in the vent.
Is this aerogen used near the parient end HME?
It is used right where you see it, assuming no HME or bypass HME
