How to make hydrogen gass at home

When aluminum reacts with caustic soda (sodium hydroxide), it produces hydrogen gas and sodium metaluminate. The chemical equation for this reaction is:
2Al + 2NaOH + 6H2O → 2Na[Al(OH)4] + 3H2
The hydrogen gas produced is colorless, odorless, and flammable. It can be tested for by bringing a burning match near it, which will produce a popping sound.
To produce hydrogen gas, you can try the following steps:
Put a small amount of aluminum foil in an Erlenmeyer flask
Add a few pellets of sodium hydroxide to the aluminum foil
Add water droplets to the sodium hydroxide pellets
To produce hydrogen gas that is close to 100% pure, you can use:
Distilled water
Pure sodium hydroxide pellets
A clean flask
Hydrogen gass making at home
