KUD "Behar" - Seattle at the opening of Bascarsijske Noci

The A group from KUD "Behar" - Seattle, a Bosnian folk-dance group, had the honor of participating in one of biggest summer cultural festivals in Bosnia and Herzegovina, "Bascarsijske Noci" or "The Nights of Bascarsija." Bascarsijske Noci is held every year, for the whole month of July, with the performances held both on the central stage (located opposite to the Town Hall) and on many open air stages of the capital. The high quality festival events, the attractive locations and the free entrance have greatly attracted the public. During the month of July, approximately 150.000 people come to see 40 to 50 diverse festival events.
