- Metro Ambassadors are on our buses, trains and at stops and stations to:
Support you as you navigate the system, providing a welcoming and visible presence and provide support that you can rely on.
Connect you to resources, be it directions to get you where you’re going, info about how to pay your fare or services available through our homeless outreach teams.
Report any maintenance, cleanliness or safety issues such as a broken escalator, a mess in a station or on a bus or train or a safety incident.
"We're metro ambassadors, of course we watch crime happen and do nothing about it.
😂
Of course we’re unarmed and unable to save you should you be a victim of crime. 🤷🏻♂️😂😂😂
Well, Boy and Girl Scouts job are not to risk there life for others as they more like Jehovah Witness than guard.
What a waste of taxpayer money.
How do you get around the system if you're lost? Do you know about all the Metro offered programs? What do you do if someone needs CPR due to an overdose? Do you carry Narcan? Do you report all the maintenance issues?
@RoboCoonie "How do you get around the system if you're lost?" Well I've lived in Los Angeles my whole life, I know my way around the city.
@@RoboCoonie I also have lived in LA my entire life and these ambassadors do not keep you safe what so ever. We should just have metro police.
@@RoboCoonie Just like TSA is not there job to do so as they are not EMT.
Keep up the good work in helping people navigate the LA Metro system. Thanks
😂 Like a Walking AI Human Map.
Do you stop the rapes or assaults on the metro?
I highly doubt it.
That's not their job. The job is for the additional security officers that have also been hired. You would know that if you used LA Metro. You now see both security officers and transit ambassadors on the platforms.
@@mrxman581 and yet, the metro is still a violent and disgusting place. You would know what if you rode the metro.
Look like these young boy and girl would need a body guard to protect them.
Love the ambassadors! Just wish the program would be expanded more
I believe it has been made permanent now and will expand in the future. Though a couple of them have been assaulted by homeless when they were trying to do their job.
They seem more like girl and boy scouts so don't keep your hope high as they not there to save your life not even protect you from safety.
I feel safer when seeing you guys at the Union Station .
I dont, they're useless.
@@ameridesign Poor you.
@@ameridesignBecause you don't use LA Metro.
Agreed. And everytime I've interacted with them, they were very helpful.
@@ameridesignClearly you're projecting your uselessness on others
"we're metro ambassadors, of course we do nothing about the drugs, homelessness, and crime in the metros"
Ok fam, what do you want them to do? Please tell me what this person who has no training in security will kick them out
The additional security officers do that work. The ambassadors are there to help passengers navigate the Metro and report issues with the stations and trains.
That's not part of their job. There mobile customer service, not law enforcement. Your sentiments should be directed at police, not the customer service people.
They are like customer service for Target and will let things happen and it out of there control.
“We’re LA Housing, Public Health and Safety, that’s our job”
I haven't been in LA in a while.so what's the purpose of having them around?
When they first put these "ambassadors " to work I saw them hand out a few flyers. That lasted for a couple of weeks, but since then, they literally do nothing. They just ride the transit and stare at their phones. Get rid of them and use that money for more private security ...
Were metro ambassadors. What actually is your job
Use the LA Metro and ask them.
They just told you, weren't you paying attention? Help the lost, report the issues on the system. Be there for the tourists in our city. Do you do that?
@@RoboCoonie are you mentally regarded?
Hello M-LA from 🇸🇪
This job is like being a bathroom attendant, is it really necessary?
Clearly you've never been customer service or a bathroom attendant
Can metro post more things like day trip to the beach or travel info? Riders don’t wanna see this.
AMBASSADORS WE ARE WE ARE GO METRO BUSES
Should have more trained security around. And ticket officers. This is what job again?😂
Customer service, and there is both hired and county security around as well as police.
get me schedules
If you ever feel useless, just remember metro ambassadors exist lmao
And do you know the entire Metro system, can you administer Narcan and CPR for overdoses, do you know how to report issues on the system, do you know every single Metro program available to you? Probably not. Guess who does? And why are you hating on people having a job?
@RoboCoonie you really sure love metro ambassadors buddy😂😂😂 become one if your so adamant of defending them!
cute video :)
Most useless job in la
Useless
Wast off space these two
