13pts lost this season from goals conceded in injury time...that would have put us on 88 pts in 2nd place with automatic promotion with a game v Orient who are top on 90 to come...Fine margins but story of our season really...so now Mansfield need to have a 4 goal swing and win if we lose to Orient as we have a 3 goal better goal difference than Mansfield as it stands...Come on City u need to produce on Monday!!!...This is where you earn your money now...They all need to turn up and produce when the pressure is on!!!...🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🐔🐔⚽️⚽️
Getting even a point against Leyton Orients going to be hard, we struggle to go 1 up against a side and shut up shop and see a game out. We can’t slip for 1 minute and the amount of penalties we have allowed to be given away however bs some may have been is ridiculous, we need to stop going to ground in the box.

Every experienced player often on instructions from the manager knows to go down injured for a few minutes to disrupt the flow of teams that are dominating. Crewe didn’t need to do that because our fans who were throwing flares onto the pitch did it for them. You’re right about the pen, it was a life line for us. That was a goal nobody stopped so it would have gone in anyway. The only positive is the game ended 3-2 not 2-0. But the possibility of us losing by 2 goals to Leyton Orient or Mansfield beating Hartlepool by 2 clear goals is very plausible. If you were on a normal predictions week most people would say Bradford City v Leyton Orient is a win for Orient and Mansfield against Hartlepool is a win for Mansfield. How many of those predictions include a score line of at least 2-0? A bet quite a few are thinking 3-1 or 2-0 to Leyton Orient or 2-0, 3-0, 4-0 for Mansfield against Hartlepool. Very worrying we may have blown it. Dicey game for us. Do we set up defensively and risk a 1-0, or go for the win and risk a bigger defeat? I’d probably say the latter. But one thing is certain, if we play like we did in the first half v Crewe everyone might as well go to the pub at half time and drown their sorrows instead of watching the second half.
But top teams tend to do what is expected of them when push comes to shove. Except BCFC. Our defeat at Posh in 1980 continues to pain some of us. Every result went against us!
