Now that I am a senior citizen living alone, I see how easy it is to have your belongings left behind. If your family and friends have already passed on who will take care of your items when you go??❤️🙏🙏🙏🐕🦺🦮❤️
And often, family younger than we are already have their own belongings and collections with no desire to take over ours! Each generation has their own tastes, likes and dislikes. Since I’ve been watching Adam? I’ve really dug in on all my own belongings and have been giving away and donating things. Once a month I have a one day (Saturday) garage sale and I’m making a killing $$$ doing so. I think my adult children are thrilled and relieved at the same time. My house IS a time capsule as it is. I always hear, “Coming to visit you is like stepping back in time.” That smartened me up, I research my furniture before selling it. I’m passing that along so others can take advantage of the gold mine we all are sitting on!
Great video mate, was a brilliant explore this!! One the best houses I've explored, just natural decay with absolutely 0 vandalism, just how we like them 👌
Also appreciate the love from everyone in the comments on the last couple of videos, Appreciate it ❤️ - Matt 👊
I love how respectful you are of peoples personal belongings.
I find it so sad that people die and there is no one close to them that cares at all about things that he worked his whole life for. He had some nice things in there.
This person had family there cards addressed as grand dad and dad, for me it's laziness to not go and remove the personal items such as pictures their was a pic of two children
Shoes are always such a personal thing to be left behind. Signs of a life once lived. Adam, you are the only explorer I follow because you are so respectful and careful. I find your commentary very soothing too 🤗
Vivimos un sueño y un despertamos. Cuando la luz entra y nos preguntamos, porque tanto afan de tener tanto si todo aqui queda y un dia nos vamos.
This is a very sad example of you cannot take it with you, when you pass.....wonderful tour, thank you!
I find it so sad when you see all their things, make you wonder why we spend so much on things for the home when we just leave it all behind, great video Adam
Agree truly makes you declutter too..
Mark your voice is so calm you should do book readings on here 📚
Always makes me sad someone lives there life and then they die and nobody cares about all their stuff
Such a cozy home. John seems like he was a nice man. I love his trains 🚂 so many nice, sad and forgotten thing's.
Amazing home that John left behind all the amazing things left behind definitely feels his spirit mite roam the home poor man left on his own loved his hobbies and the cars in brannew condition top exploring Adam marks and matt from Australia ❤
He might have been bed bound. We did the same for my father in Law his house was so massive we closed two thirds down and made him a bed sit with a kitchen bathroom sleeping and living area.
As a lad I remember my grandmother that way too.
To be fair John must've been a laid back sort a fellow who'd invite a person in for a cuppa and chat because the house seems quiet and gentle. Such a good explore Adam, thanks for taking us along
Yes it was a well loved nice little place i did not find it creepy god love him and may he rest ..
So lovely to know John and his wife are totally at peace
Can you tell me where it is please I want to visit there some time and I'm not disrespectful and won't break anything
Another incredible explore. I didn't pick up any bad vibes either just contentment and peace. I think John was happy with the life he had. Beautiful house, lovely to see no one has vandalised itor stolen things.
My great grandparents house in Ireland is like this. It’s such a shame. It’s still owned by our family but no one over there can sort out all the jobs that need doing so it’s over grown and dangerous. I’m pretty certain there’s still a bunch of stuff in there from when my great grandmother passed in the 80s
>@ Katie Beswick....
You should give Mark the info and let him go explore. I think that would be neat.
@@lindatimmons3675 I know right!! That'll great for us to see. Unfortunately, Katie may get a sore heart seeing their old home 😕.
Sadly the permissions for that would lie with my grandfathers remaining siblings still over in Ireland. I would love nothing more than to give him permission. My cousin intends to get it sorted when it goes to her (it’s left to her in her mothers will) but we can’t even get inside the house without their permission. I’ve never even seen the house in person. Only ever in photographs
If you can you should see if you and others family can save the keep sakes from the old family members..
@@rebaeasler I actually messaged the cousin it’s being willed to and everything bar a few chairs and a tool box has been removed. I’m not sure when they did this but maybe some of the younger generation have helped out and cleared it. Everything that could be salvaged furniture wise has been donated to charity and everything else divided to the family in Ireland. Some stuff has been shipped to the uk to the remaining siblings there too. The house is still in a bit of a state but hey at least they’re on the way to getting it sorted
Hello fellas, I wanted to say thank you so much as I am currently watching this! I have been a shut in for a while now …Fighting Covid right now and have been marathoning your explorations. Absolutely love all your tender care you take with each and every exploration! Top notch💕For reasons unknown to me I feel very emotional watching this particular one.
Absolutely gorgeous antique furniture 😁
Just had a positive Covid test and I am struggling but these videos are a great antidote
I binge watched a month ago when I had covid I was pretty rough, I hope you guys recover quickly, it might not feel it right now but it does come to an end xx
You'll be well soon..... Took me almost 2 weeks to recover from covid. Didn't get it for 3 yrs thn all of a sudden it happened.
I always find the photos very moving, they give a glimpse of the times gone by, sad😥
Mark you videos were first Urbex I saw . no one is as professional , respectful and through with amazing commentary as you . Miss seeing Dale though :( . Keep up the good work ! You inspire me to get exploring . I look forward to every new video .
As long you keep up the roof, it will keep on!
Adam so nice to see old houses not vandalised pawsome content dude 👍🦊🐾🇬🇧🍀
Waited ALL week for this Adam... my Sunday ritual.... thanks for all your hard work exploring.....
Your respect and love of architecture is awesome and the research you do. Just brilliant.
You could just imagine people living their ,isn’t it sad photos an cards ,makes me wonder how the family can leave personal things thanks Adam fabulous fins as always.Loved the intro lv Ann uk 💋💋🇬🇧🇬🇧
What a treasure, love the brick work on the inside of the house.
It's amazing how all of the things left in the house meant so much to him but now it'll mostly all be thrown into a dumpster.
What an amazing house that was, Adam. Yes it was sad to see all those personal belongings behind. Brilliant to see that there wasn't any vandalism, too.
You are now my favourite urbex explorer you were always up top three but not now your my urbex explorer your just so natural at doing it none of this crap that some do and make things look more dramatic you just do it as it is love you and you take your time for us all to see thank you Adam your the best 😊😘
What a lovely little house poor Johns things that have been left in that home. Its like no one cared and no one wanted anything he had owned so they could keep his belongings and they would of been kept and been given to maybe the young boys in the family to have. the many models of trains and cars etc they could of had those ... Such a shame that it is decaying and falling down when he cared and loved his house bless him. R.I.P. John and hope one day they can do something with his property in time before its far too late. Adam you are so respectful and I love to watch your explores you are such a nice person ... hi to the lovely Lisa too. .. Hope shes doing ok .. xx
Excellent find buddy, that’s so crazy how the lights still turn on and yet if I didn’t pay my electric bill, the power company would have me disconnected in a heartbeat!
@@edwinthompson6510 The power in the UK just doesn’t get turned off if no one is using it then it will stay connected.
I’m wondering if the power bill is being automatically paid out of an account somewhere. Can’t think of any other reason for the power to be on after 16 years?
The box of 100 bedpans was extremely sad.
Yeh, that could be my future. My father in law has bulk supplies of incontinence pads. Comes to us all unless something worse gets us first.
Thanks for the video. It's sad to see once a great home, left to decay naturally. I just wish if there's any family member, to at least keep it clean and tidy once in a while so as to cherish the memories. My parents always tell us to keep their old house as a family museum and I love the idea and mt other sisters too. I still go back home regularly, to attain to what is needed & to lay down on the sofa to feel that nostalgic aura. It's definitely worth a memory of our past.
You have a very calming voice Adam. Love your explores.
Great video. It's always amazing to see the footprint left behind by one human being after they've departed. Do I detect an accent from the Abergele region of North Wales? I have family from that area and you sound so much like them!
Very close
The Duette Twin Power Pack unit thingy is the power source for a model train set. Great explore...love your work and you!!
Loved the explore Adam, what a place. Seemed to have a lot of corridors. Loved it! ❤️😊
Beautiful house. So much left behind I always find that so sad, no family members to collect the sentimental items like photos etc. thankyou you find some amazing places Thankyou for taking Us along with you x
The wooden furniture is in remarkable good shape. I remember mgm midgets from back in the 70. My neighbor friend got one when he turned 16. And got his License. Cool little car.
So happy I found your channel, now to go watch all the videos. Amazing stuff.
Another great explore, Matt!! Where's Dale been? Hope to see both of you exploring together soon.
Tack 🙏🏻 för en ännu spännande video 📼 Adam 🕷🕸🇸🇪
Absolutely 💯 one of my faves!! Keep up the great tours for us.
Such a big, beautiful old home!!! I loved the rock & brick walls!!! The architecture was great, but I was a bit confused due to all of the narrow corridors!!! Makes me very sad that the beautiful wooden furniture was not saved😢😰😞 It also makes me sooo very sad to see this once beautiful home be lost to decay & abandonment 😞😢😰 I’m sure that poor John was either alone his entire life or due to some misfortune, at the end of his life… makes me sooo very sad for him😰😢😞 Sooo very glad that you don’t explore alone, for your own safety, Adam! I’m sure that John went to a better place & is no longer earthbound 👍🙏❤️Thank you Adam for another wonderful adventure!!! I loved it 👍🙏❤️💕♥️
i would say hes a man that kept very much to himself thats the vibe im getting thankyou for showing it mark i wrote this while you were down stairs
Another amazing vid...loved it Adam! It's as if he left suddenly or passed ..frozen in time are my fave houses.
I've been looking forward to this video! Absolutely loved last week's.....
Have a fab Sunday Adam!
This house waits for you.But you don't return .The years go by and still no sign of you .All your loved possessions waiting too .All the things you cared about are waiting in these rooms stuck in the past .Memory of you and only memory but this will last .Forever waiting .
Very nice Debbie. Did you write that or did you find it somewhere? It is conjuring up thoughts of a house as a faithful friend.
@@philiptownsend4026 yes I wrote it .I feel your home is your safe anchorage .
Well done! 👏👏👏
Very nice and profound Debbie
@@philiptownsend4026 i wrote it.
This was one of the saddest walk through I've watched.. idk why but I just felt so bad for the man being in that house alone ..
It's nice to be able to see a place that hasn't been tore up who has been left in time in good shape
Thank for sharing yes lots of old stuffs ..
9:58 - massive spider Adam? I invite you then to 'explore' my garden shed! 😅
Great job on RUclips abandoned locations and amazing video ✌️ 😎👍
What a beautiful house , it’s lovely, thanks Adam 💚
The Aladins lamp looks like it's been moved judging by the clean dust free spot by it.
Sad that there is no one left to finalize things at this estate. It will just be left to rot and wither away
Just curious, do you ever get any feedback from the estate owners after they see your tours of their place? Someone either family or otherwise, owns the property. So likely some time it's likely you will get some feedback. This one is still very saveable, I myself, would love to have the place to live in. The fact that the power is still on don't surprise me , we have a neighboring farmstead that the fellow passed 12 years back, everything inside was sold off to clean up the house, but his daughters still keep the power and heat going so as to maintain the building, also to make it easier to open up, once the power service is stopped, it's very costly to reconnect, so they just pay the monthly minimum even though they only stop in once or twice a year. The rent on the farm acreage pays the taxes and other expenses, just barely, but no money out of pocket. I keep an eye out to prevent vandals from being around. It's amazing how fast a house can go to ruin if some isn't living inside.
There’s a lot of properties that don’t have any owners or beneficiaries and the government pocket them. Most are left to fall apart and stay empty.
Thanks for another great explore ! I find it really strange and sad when there are cards there from family members but no one has come forward to claim the property and John’s personal items and how strange that the power was still on. Looking forward to seeing where you go next week.
So many antiques! So glad it wasn't vandalized! Beautiful and big place!😘
Makes you sad when some people die and their life's possessions are just left to rot. There is or was, family and grandchildren at one time. Wonder why they would ignore the property. Great explore as usual Adam 😀👍
My Sundays are proper because of these lovely videos from Adam. This particular house seems like the owner is at peace, has passed away after a good life, hence he isn't around now. Obviously a dad and a grandad, clearly his wife has been absent for years. Thank you Adam, another great vid.
What happened to this man’s family? Such a great house shame it’s just left to rot
I would say this is more recent than 2006 Adam. I’m no expert but I shop at Morrison’s and noticed the kitchen foil packaging is quite recent 😂. So is the packaging on the Andrex toilet rolls 🤷🏼♂️
I love how excited Adam got about the spider... lol 🤣🤣🤣
There’s even a lot of things in this house that was in my parents house lol my dad collected model trains instead of cars, but the books, the furniture, even some of those clothes… my dad would have been 90 the 11th of this month. Trippy!
What a beautiful place! Shame that stuff was left and you cant take it😪 That grandfather clock is stunning
Tell me something my favourite explorer what happened to Dale and Lisa ?Noone seems to ask hope they're ok
.
Another great find Adam¡!!! This might have been the best one yet as far as with everything still intact in the house. And as always bring it on Adam!!!
It looks as tho no one has been there before you. Great find.
Hi Adam another great week interesting house so many halls and rooms hard to see the layout of the floorplan but still fun to see thanks for introducing John to us!! Stay safe !
John probably went in peace, it’s a man home indeed, a heaven of John, thank you for sharing
What a lovely house with nice details. Seeing some of the ornaments I expect he did have a wife who might have left the home or died herself. Was into Meccano and cars and train sets by the looks. He must be at peace Adam coz k2 didn't pick up anything. Nice explore well done xx
I think so also. He did at least have a son and grandchild.
Lovely home. I love the arched doorways. It amazes me that it’s just left to decay. Such a waste.
Great exploe as always, but I'll admit that this one made me sad and itching to declutter my own place! I have no idea why i feel like that with this place, but I think it reminds me a bit of my parents home. There was a lot of stuff to clear out of their home when they died, my dad was a bit of a hoarder of stuff that "maybe useful", but never were.
Great location, god blessings, greetings from Colombia Adam. I hope someday yo coming to my country here there are many places like the ones you explore in England..
Very respectful Adam great little explore as always 👏🏻😘💕
Also , in that painting it looked like (king) Richard 3rd Duke of York ! 😀Whoever lived there must of really loved history , with the maps and the paintings!
Yes I thought it was one of the Richards
What an amazing find. Just loving the hall entrance, very spacious. I wldnt mind living in that house.
Just came across yr channel 👍
Wow soooooo much stuff!! No one to claim it all??? Great job Adam! 🥰🥰🥰
Wohoo the chez lounge moment is back 😅😅 missed that in your recent videos there weren’t any 😄😄
@13:35 ish Tempus Fugit is Latin for’time flies. @ 20:28 the Duette is a model railway controller. Enjoyed this immensely, thank you x
He lived a whole life in there. I can just see it. ❤️
The best thing about Sunday evenings🤩! Absolutely amazing explore love how everything is still there and in its place, feels like someone could just walk back through the door!
Thanks again🤭
Cool place! It seems as though John was able to peacefully move onto his heavenly dwelling.❤️
Glad to see it seems that John have moved on
Think about it, u work all ur life to be comfortable, have a nice home, have nice things. U want to have lots of fun with ur love ones and share many holiday’s together and in the end have a wonderful retirement. Then all of a sudden u die and all ur hard work and possession r left to decay and ur beautiful home just rots away as if u never existed. Wow what a grim thought!!
Hello Adam and Matt great video content. Always look forward too your videos.
Hi Adam! Great explore! Beautiful old country house. It must have been a lovely home back in the day. Thanks for another great vid!
You are very respectful, a gentle explorer. You are very kind.
What an amazing house yet so sad that John's house and possessions are just a mere echo of his life.
Thank you for this explore.
That is the cleanest horders house i have seen
On the grandfather clock the words "tempus fugit" = time flies. this must have been a really comfortable home at one time.
In Latin - time flies.
This house is a sad reflection of what it must be like to live on your own and most likely die on your own and all alone.
@@Silverdale15 I understand your fears and have so much sympathy for you. This is my greatest fear too. Please take care and look after yourself.
What seems to have happened here is such a common occurrence and is so sad. I dread that may be my future too.
No one dies alone as such.
@@spellbound4383 I don't understand. How is someone who is alone not alone?
@@philiptownsend4026 I believe you never die the body dies but you go on I also believe when you die loved ones already passed over are there waiting for you.
Haircuts lookin fresh my guy👌🏻👌🏻 another great explore🙏🏻🙏🏻
Lovely wee 🏠 like your hair you look like a film star 💫 sad when you get old I always giving things away not doing that to my son's nanapollyx 🙏💕☮️💐🌻🌟😊🙏👍🥳🌃🏴🌹
Wow! What a fabulous place.
Nice house Adam. Look’s if it has been well loved. ❤️from🏴
Great house great video Adam love from manchester ❤️
A house near me the young owner died several months ago, he lived in his run down house for 30years, he was not married or any children. Solicitor found some long lost family and they don't want it & want it put up for sale.
That's the best thing that can happen. The house will live again. Is a shame the long lost family that cared not a jot about your neighbour will benefit from his death. Better it went to a charity for whatever he died from.
Out of all the videos I have watched. I really think that someone could save this house. Such a time piece. All the brick inside John did himself. Also the cabinets. Look hand made. What a shame to me it looks like he did all the work for his wife and then lost her. After that he gave up. Just a guess. You think a child or niece or nephew would fix the place up. I’m also surprised a bum hasn’t moved in. Even more so the lights work. Love your channel Adam. Keep up the good work.
You're videos are by far the best! Watch alot of urbex, so frustrating listening to their crap, trying to be funny! I love tge respect you give to these houses. Top notch!
Thanks Adam.
You're my favourite explorer x
To me it's so sad that his family who sent the Dad, Grandpa cards wouldn't clear out his possessions and property out of respect for everything he cared about and worked for.
It's kind of funny to me that you mention EVERY spider you see with some fear but you're not afraid of the spirits, me, I'm afraid of both LOL!
I love watching your videos!! Watching from the PH🇵🇭
