Why are people saying there is no prophecy that needs to be fullfilled before the rapture? I thought the "dead in christ will rise first" meaning prior to the rapture. Why is no one talking about this event? The bible doesn't specify how much time is between these two events, but it seems everyone is assuming it will be simultaneous. If we witness this event then we will be certain we are going very soon.
The dead in Christ is the rapture along with those who do not sleep "still alive". It's all one event. 1 Corinthians 15 51Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed- 52in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
A lesson well taught, Thank You.
Thank you brother, it's one of my favorites.
