You are really feeling the music on this one. 🔥🔥🔥 old school maiden. Love ❤️ it. You are meditating on the words and chords. That is how to listen to music 🔥🔥🔥
Wow, how did I only bump into your channel now? I feel like that's what I've been saying a lot lately, but I digress - I absolutely love how you just experience the music, you not only listen to it, you live it, and that's also what I often do (and feel weird doing, or at least I did until now that I know I'm not alone at it =D), because it just shows that music is not only pleasure for one's ears, it's SO MUCH MORE! And I love how you show that with all the movement and mouthing the lyrics, it might look like such a little thing to someone, but it makes a huge difference and it really makes a reaction video live up to its name! And it shows that you actually appreciate music for what it really is - a whole bunch of feelings put into a few minutes of sound... I'm so glad that I've found this video, because it made me realise all that once again, it made me think of why I love music so much and honestly it was great to sit here, moving with the rhythm, mouthing the lyrics together with you... It did the trick for me, I needed something like this to calm down tonight... So thank you for such an awesome video (even though I'm terribly late for the party) and you just got a new subscriber! ❤ Stay awesome and stay strong! 🤗
The First 2 albums almost sound like a completely different band.Very special sound on those 2 with Paul DI Anno singing & Clive Burr on the drums. Of course the piece de resistance on this album is "The Phantom of the Opera"
I love this song, it's a rare ballad by them that keeps the low tempo for all the song and a great intro including the solo and also the other instrumental sections emphasizes the emotion really really strongly. Might be my favorite ballad from them all time. However, I wonder if you've listened to Phantom of The Opera from their debut album. Strange World is a great choice but I still wish you talked about that song instead, if you wanted to go for this album. It's my favorite song ever by Iron Maiden, the main riff is ok and energetic but the very long instrumental section in the middle, the build up, the transitions, the riffs, the solos, everything about that part is exceptional. In my opinion, that part shows the composing talent of Harris and promises a legendary band coming to life. It's the ancestor of their great epics like Fear Of The Dark, Rime Of The Ancient Mariner, Alexander The Great, Dance Of Death, Sign Of The Cross, When The Wild Wind Blows, etc...
I love this album. I'm old enough to remember being shocked about Di'Anno leaving the band. Its hard to believe now but a lot of fans at that time rejected Bruce initially. Also, when Martin Birch heard the first album he contacted the band and asked why they didn't ask him to produce it and they said they didn't think he would be interested. The rest is metal history.
I absolutely loved hearing Paul's lovely amazing voice of this song ballad Strange World. Absolutely brilliant. Rest in Peace Paul, will be terribly missed and God Bless (1958-2024)😪😢🙁💔🙏
@@IYOU I seem to get a lot of those these days! Since you like guitars so much (as I do), and 70s/80s music (as I do), I wonder if you’ve come across Steve Rothery and the band Marillion? He’s one of those guitarists who makes the instrument weep for you. I could suggest you look for Cinderella Search (preferably the 12” version). I think it would appeal to you musically and lyrically.
Paul Di'anno singing the song "Killers" live from the album Killers is worth a watch/listen as his voice live is amazing. Thank you for another great reaction.
Their first two albums with Paul are my favorite. They just have a special richness and warmth about them that I never felt with Bruce. “Strange World” is my favorite Iron Maiden song. The guitar solos are better on the first two albums also I believe.
Very good reaction here, classic Yulia. Feeling the vibe and also noting that the smooth tones suit the vocal. Drums not overpowering and tempo so cool.
Actually Paul Di'Anno was Maiden's third singer, though the first one since they started making records. To me the lyrics of this song seem to be about someone who gets lost in his daydreams of a perfect but strange world that to him is better than the real world. Or it could also be about somebody who suffers from severe mental problems or who is in a state of emotional distress. Anyway, it's a great song and one of Maiden's few ballads.
I love i love i.love Paul Di Anno 's voice and the guitar riffs in the first 2 albums Iron Maiden and Killers 🖤🖤 I find the vibes of these 2 first albums unique and unforgettable because differently of you i approached iron maiden with Paul di Anno and not Dickinson You are right the sound of first albums was spacey dreamy simple but well structured...Paul Di Anno made me dream with his voice and style singing, he gave me something unique singing to my soul ... check song Remember Tomorrow ( also covered by Metallica) to feel the best vibes of very early beginning iron maiden ! I love albums piece of mind, powerslave and live after death but the first 2 albums are my favorites and listening Strange world gives me chills still today! I m very happy you check also this album. i suggest to you to listen Remember Tomorrow 🖤
Oi boa tarde. Henrique de Salvador/Bahia/Brasil. A música é Linda/Fantástica/Sensacional. BJSSS no ❤️
I'll be honest I can't stand Bruce Dickinson! 🤣🤣🤮🤮 Paul Dianno is much more original and authentic he didn't over sing like Dickinson does... but hey that's my opinion anyways Killers is Maidens best album ever imo!
My favorite Maiden ballad. So much different than the rest of their music. When I listen to it, I'm happy in my new Strange World.

Dave had one of the greatest melodies on guitar in metal , ever

Oh for SURE!!! Dave Murray is the friggin man!!!
I think this is Dennis Stratton not Dave Murray
@@slahblah it's mainly Dave on the lead in this one. The fender strat with wah wah that sounds like its crying is Dave.
May the Maiden be with you ALL!!! UP THE IRONS!!!

I guess ballad for me is just slower melody and I defined so many songs from their catalog as a ballads))

Both vocalists we're excellent for their albums, I have listened from the beginning, don't care for the silliness of the review, though.
