Your gardens are lovely, thank you so much for inviting us over, you have created a paradise! See you next time 💖
So nice of you to come 😊
Oh Clare, I'm so excited for you and all you've accomplished at Happenstance. I just love it. It is so peaceful. I actually got quite emotional as I watched the transformation as I was hearing the sounds of cars rushing by my house, roofers in other neighborhoods banging away, some other really loud engine making a racket, all drowning out the songs of the birds and whisper of the breeze. I long for the quiet solitude you have but property prices here are out of reach. I do the best I can in my urban environment and live my quiet life vicariously through people like you. Thank you for sharing the photos and update today. I loved it as I sipped on my cuppa. Stay safe and we'll see you in the next video!
Thank you Jayne. 😊
To find cheap land like mine you have to go where the majority don’t want to go 😃
Yes, I'm sad to say I haven't found anywhere in idaho that people dont want to be. But I will continue to look.
I looked for inexpensive (cheap) blocks of land and found this when there was a drought in the area. so it was cheaper. I also moved away from where I did live.
Best wishes. Clare. 😊
A very accomplished women ... thanks for sharing. ❤
You are so welcome 😊
The transformation has been amazing, Clare! The energy and love you have put into the plants and land really shows. I remember your first cold winter in tiny tin hut, and how you turned it into a cozy nest so quickly. So beautiful to see so many things come to fruition now.
Thank you so much! 😊

Haha 😂. Rich in piles indeed. No pain really
Hahaha! I remember my Grandmother telling me not to sit on the cold cement because I'd get piles. 😂
Classic 😅😅

Hello 😊
It's perfect. Truely. 😍💓
Thank you. That’s lovely
So long as the piles don't give you a hernia while you're trying to shift them. Hahaha. I know which piles I prefer. Very useful ones too.
Look at all the beauty you've created with your own hands!😍 each plant and structure tells the story and has your stamp all over it. I really love your place as a whole . Great job . Nice to see you again too. I hope you have a "this years wood pile " there somewhere. Thank you for sharing lovely ❤❤
Glad you enjoyed the vid.
Yes, I have mill wood in the crates and a load of iron bark split logs in the wood shed too. Always pays to be one step ahead ☺️
Wow, such a beautiful video! Your place is heavenly and I really enjoyed the trip down memory lane especially since I have followed you from the beginning. Enjoy your abundance of goods growing on your little piece of heaven! Till next time....
Thank you so much! I’ll be able to relax a bit more now that the really ‘hard work is done.
Luckily I make comfrey salve and that’s brilliant for achey muscles 😊
Beautiful as always!! Talk to me about 🍅 tomatoes please. Every year, I deal with something that always ruins mine. Birds, fungus, rain, etc. Yours are beautiful!! Determinate/Indeterminate? Grow vertical/horizontal? Soil? Full sun/sun-shade? I would love some advice. Maybe even a video on your process? I absolutely love watching..... 😁
Hello 😊
I grow a German potato leaf tomato called Deutscher Fleiss. They are intermediate.
If there are fruit flies around I put exclusion bags on my tomatoes.
I grow them anywhere there’s room really and they do well.
I plant by the moon and by season for my climate and unless there’s way too much rain I do well.
Hope that helps a little bit
Clare
So happy to see you and the Happenstance update/tour. Don’t know if you have been away for a while or if the video scorekeepers just diverted you? Job well done, Clare. Enjoy the fruits of your labor.
Thank you so much Delores 😊
My sister had piles when she was 17. It was a new thing for me...what were piles? However, some 35 years later I can understand her little anal problem. She grew into a woman of Royal blood, with a snoot as high as a Redwood. Funny, how your little stories stimulate memories! Thank you! 👍
Hi Clare, It is good to see you again and everything looks good. How's Mouse House doing? Love nature and what your doing✋🏻☮️💖
The Mouse House van is very well and does enjoy the fortnightly trip into town for supplies. 🚐😊
Hi Clare...did you ever find your digger tool? Is it a hori hori knife? Everything is so wonderful!
Hello Mae. Yes I did find it and I still don’t know what it’s called 😂
Hi Clare..did you know that Joolca iis coming out with an inflatable hot tub?
No, I did not know that. I have a folding one that’s pretty good for a nice hot bath once in a while. Otherwise it’s a quick shower as I’m on rainwater only. 😊
