I'm 56 with dry skin and this product looks so good on my mature skin. I apply two thin coats and it gives a low to medium coverage. Really loving this product
Another 56 year who is loving this product. I don’t have acne, texture or oiliness. I can see why this with those concerns may not like it. My skin is normal to dry, so the product works well for me.
I love this product! I am 65 years old with normal to dry skin and it just looks so beautiful on my skin. I don't feel it on my skin and I'm so happy to have found it. The last couple of years I've been looking for a good skin tint and I've tried everything in the drugstore all the new things that have come out I even tried Bobby Brown skin tint that I had used to use but everything looks dry and cakey on my skin until this new Cover Girl product.
I love this product! I used it today when I needed to rush out the door and didn’t have time to put a full face of makeup on. It is very sheer coverage, but it’s perfect for just evening out the skin tone a bit. I slapped on some cream blush, bronzer, mascara and out the door. I have dry skin so I didn’t have to powder at all. Love love it for no makeup days
I paid 15$ on Amazon. I am a grammie and this is the best foundation I have ever tried. It's hydrating but not gooey, it tried well, no wrinkles or shedding. I am in total shock.
I love Laura Gellar baked foundations for a quick look or to add more coverage to a skin tint!! I will be purchasing her other baked products!! Her line is amazing and the quality is Great 👍👍
I’m getting so sick and tired of drugstore makeup prices going up to almost high end prices. If I’m gonna pay that much than I might as well pay $10 more bucks for high end product.
This is for aging skin. It says so on the bottle. I think it wasn't designed for oily young skin so I bet if your over 40 , menopausal and dry it will probably work. I am not criticizing but it does confuse me when young people try products not made for them and then give the product a bad review. It would be like someone 50 trying a foundation for oily acne prone skin and then giving it bad review. Of course your going to hate it.
I'm 60, been through menopause, and I still have t-zone oiliness as much as I ever did. So, even though she's 25 - 30 years younger, she saved me the aggravation because I now know this makeup won't work for my aging combination skin. It's actually an issue for me because so many of the formulas for aging skin don't work on my face, for just this reason.
I got it mid December and I’m still not sure what I think of it. I did need to use setting powder. I thought it felt more like skin care. I do think it’s going to be temperamental with the weather. It’s done best on bare skin. I like the cover girl with the white swirl foundation better.
It seems like a lot of maintenance during the day to make it look good. Doesn’t seem worth it for the price. Regular skin care products under a better foundation seems like a better option. There are so many choices with bb creams, and tinted moisturizers etc. that I would not bother with this.
Mature more dry skin here! With Large pores. While this gives me a great glow and does not settle into laugh lines it did not play nice in my pores especially later in day. I can't do pore filling primers so not option. Ciele tint is my absolute ride or die. But if you like glow and pores aren't huge its very nice IMO
Is the Ciele tint glowy? I’ve been wanting to try it but my shade has been sold out forever. I have dry mature skin but generally do not like much glow because it accentuates pores.
@embeth446 it is glowy but not super glowy like Ilia was. My large pores have to be set with powder. I have tried it alll. What I find special about this tint is it plays so well with powder and when set lightly in t zone it so smoothing on my pores and last alllll day. I use a light dusting of kosas cloud set powder for reference. Cover girl when I didn't set or I set with cloud powder still looked very textured
I have the maybelline skint tint it is good, a bit drying. This cover girl essence would be great for my dry skin I like the glow it is giving off. A no makeup look, fresh skint tint. I think powder on the t zone is key with a setting spray. Also, the loreal serum is good everyday no makeup look. a slight shine but not completely glowy and good coverage. I think all of these would be good for mature skin, you don't wish to wear a lot of makeup.
I’m 64 with combo skin and have worn this twice so far and both times I came away too shined as well. I set it with powder twice and was still very shiny at the end of the day. Not sure I’m going to keep it. I love that it is such a light wash of color but it just may be too much moisture for me. Bummer.
I think I have found my new favorite skin tint. I am fair and it's hard to find something that is a good match for my skin. I did use a little primer (Elf pore less and Fenty ). I used tarte cream blush and a light dusting of translucent powder. My skin is a little dry in some areas. I will try this out with other primers to extend the wear time.
@@gingerkid1048 It did not, was pretty all day. I did a little mid day powder touch up around my chin area. I used the lightest shade they had and my translucent powder I am currently using is from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I will try it with my pink powder from Jones Road next time.
I’m super curious to see how this would play underneath something like the Laura Geller Bake & Brighten to boost the coverage of both products. Anyone know when/if this is coming to Canada?
Seems gimmicky including the Chanel one… you can get the same coverage with a really good tinted SPF moisturizer such as Dr. Jart or even the Kosas line.
I wonder if it is more pricey due to the ingredients- one of them is a retinol alternative which I heard can be kind of pricey? I tried it today for the first time and love it! But I have dry skin, always have.
I mean this in the most sincere with no hate at all, but I really could not see any difference than if you had just put un tinted lotion on your face. When you said it feels like water on the skin, my first thought was it looks like water LOL. This one will be a no for me since I need to even out my skin.
I bought the expensive version of this called “ROSE inc” and it made me break out so bad. I’m wondering if this formula will do better on my skin. I really like the thin coverage as I dont need much coverage
I saw this at Walgreens yesterday and wondered about it but didn't pick any of it up because I didn't know if I'd like it and now I know, I'd look like a total greaseball and a mess plus I need a little more coverage than that - nope, not for me....not even at age 68
I don’t get the point. Only people with practically perfect skin could wear this…Which means you probably could save your money and skip this. The rest of us need coverage and this isn’t going to do anything for us.
I have dry mature skin. It didn't feel oily to me at all and it had a nice glow and it didn't settle in lines. However if you have large pores it is not smoothing or blurring on them at all and I felt I have better more smoothing tints then this
What is CoverGirl thinking with the price though? It’s over $20, are they for real with that?? I mean, sure, it looks pretty and all, but is it worth that? Or, could you take your favorite foundation, mix in a good, hydrating serum, and make this yourself? Only that way you could customize the coverage? I could be wrong, I’m just saying. If it weren’t for the price, I wouldn’t be coming for it the way I am. But that’s kinda insane to me for a drugstore (not even) foundation.
This looks good on her, but she has near perfect skin to begin with. Let’s see it on someone who doesn’t. It’s not worth buying. I’ve tried this and it’s not great.
I tried this and loved the way it went on, but it ended up looking so dry and I have normal skin. If I remember correctly it has a decent amount of alcohol in it (having a hard time finding the ingredients listed online). I returned.
@@lorellrogers1216 I’m not trying to be argumentative, but I just looked the ingredients up on Amazon ( I think I can trust them) and it lists Benzyl alcohol in around the middle of the ingredients list and three parabens towards the end of the list if that concerns anyone.
It's not good for her and might not be good for you, but as an older person this made me want to buy it. My skin is dryer and more flat looking than it used to be so it might be a good fit for me.
I loathe this product! It does not play well with moisturizers and sunscreen - pills so horribly. I don't know how this product made it out of Covergirl R&D!
My opinion is : calling this item A “ foundation” is A bit of “ The Emperor’s New Clothes” effect. Not impressed at all! So many better items like this on the market. Sorry Cover Girl, it’s A fail from me. JMO
This new make up was AWFUL!!!! It felt like clay on the skin which was a surprise for something that looked like it would be hydrating. It was a bazaar formula to work with. Overpriced. I returned the next day. Just because a produce goes “viral” doesn't mean it's worth the hype.
This “viral” product seems gimmicky and will probably be old news soon. Why do I need to mix the pigment myself on my face? If I’m paying $20 please have it mixed up already! lol
I really love it my skin is very good so I don’t need much coverage and it looks very good I also have the Chanel complexion touch which has a lot more pigment than the original water tint and the cover girl one (the cover girl one is a lot more patchy (I think the Chanel cost a bit too much but I can afford it personally) but it is definitely very expensive for even high end
A lot of people spend a lot more than that on foundation. If you don’t want to spend it, don’t. I have no idea what how much a person spends on make up has anything to do with being a “serious person“. 😂

Worth the coin spent.👍🏻
I like the Laura Geller foundations. They’re a compressed, baked, powder and they leave my skin looking beautiful and very soft.

I agree, like the balm foundation that's sheer for mature skin. It's designed for another purpose
When I first started out on makeup, I wouldn’t touch anything that said anti ageing lol, because I was 14, too young to be thinking of anti aging
