That was the best shoot out review in the history of reviews. The great ensemble of guys, the setting, the detailed descriptions and the their opinions/emotions about how they're imagining and articulating to the viewer what each bike would provide to the buyer in different terrains. 👏 Bravo!
Can't find one at 2 local dealers here in Western Ohio! There like gimme $300 an we call ya when we get one!? Are they in good supply near you? No YFZ450Rs or Raptor 700Rs avail either!
Appreciate the dialogue. The details highlight the characteristics of each bike and the preferences of each rider. It shows the attributes and challenges of each model, and what some guys like, and what others do not. Well done guys.
I believe Yamaha would be the first to do it out of Japanese brands. They seem to listen to the people really well. I think marketing wise, if some how Suzuki did it- people would be really excited and it would bring some attention back to them. Hopefully Roczen signs this year with Hep and the brand builds back up like its prime years early/ late 00's.
A shootout should be on different tracks, racing each bike a couple times and making sure the bikes have been tested in different conditions. Testing on one track in one day sounds like you guys are worried about being the first media to come out with that shootout…
I like how they have different backgrounds as far as skill and the varied opinions are appreciated. Not everyone has the same goals when it comes to why they purchase a specific bike, some are hard core racers, some are the complete opposite and everything in between. Don’t need group think, keep up the good work! 👍
I think a good question for the guys would be which bike would u bring to glammis? And also lap times on the bikes to see what they were faster on compared to what they liked would be interesting also
After owning a KTM. 350sxf and a 450sxf I believe the perfect bike would be around 400cc. I loved the 350 feel and cornering but it was lacking torque whereas a 450 has gobs of torque. Ktm could split the difference and discontinue both 350 and 450 and have a 450 killer, best of both worlds
Steve, if you haven't ridden the new 2023 350, you definitely should. Its a new motor with a completely new feel. It has more torque in the places you mention. Its not so much of a revver anymore.
I've watched a number of vids now with riders logging lap times on the 350 against 450s. The riders are always faster on the 350. Usually quite considerably faster. To think you need a 450 is just kidding yourself.
Very interested in the 350, my only worry is that I’m about 235 pounds and the 350 won’t have enough power for me. I currently own a 2016 crf450r, love the bike but it feels like a tank at times…
I think a problem with the 350, at least the Husqvarna, is if you aren’t able to carry corner speed it’s harder to recover on than a 450. I’m trying to convince myself to like the 350, but I’m having a difficult time. Also, with a $200.00 difference in price, it’s hard to justify a 350. Thank you for a great video.
I ride 450's on the pipe. Hard habit to break due to my 2-stroke background, linebacker build, and strength that allow me to get away with this. My style best suit's the long rev curve of YZF or Ktm. I'm on a '18 Kawi 450. Killer Low & Mid, but then NOTHING! I put a FMF 4.1 with Titanium Mega bomb on it. It completely woke up the top end of this motor. If you love the '16-'23 Kawi but hate the flat top end...this upgrade is a game changer! Best Money Spent!
This is not shootout.. we have been bored.. every year every same guy choose the same bike.. we know already the results of 2024 shootout.. all this, is about personal choices or what ?
@@jpesicka492 if you took out bikes that were the same as last year, most shoot outs would only have half the bikes. Most companies are on a 3 to 4 year product cycle. Just give us the content.
Wow , Swap Moto is deleting all posts that are critical of their review . There were a lot of posts yesterday that they got rid of . Swap Moto IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED.

Where's Buttery?
Hung over.
LOL H A H A
Worried he would be bias about the Honda lol
He knew he’d become Team Green!
He's out there being buttery
Yamaha and the yz 450 with Eli have been killing it this year, and the new bike looks good, can't wait to get one

Seems like it's about the same here too
@@Davido50 I have one scheduled to be here in April in NH . But they still aren’t 100% positive

Your 450 shootout convinced me to buy a 350. How long or if ever, will it take for the Japanese brands to make a 350?

Makes me think a leftover '22 Yz450f is not a bad option..
Grabbed one a few weeks ago for a deal I could not pass up monster edition at that
That shop is bad ass! That is going to be my dream build one day! 🍻
Very cool test......!......I've not seen anyone do it this way before .....lovin the content
can we get more bike reviews and shootouts?
I still ride my 2006 honda crf450r. Some comments helped. And ive never rode a 350 butt all my trail riding buddies love their 350's.
I love my 06 honda. But what u guys say about the new honda is my same love and dislikes for my old bike. Learned a lot today from u guys. Thanks.
Go honda!
Great job guys!

Do they make a big bore kit for the 350? Maybe like a 380 kit? Might help with the bottom end people says it lacks?

I think the issue is what they stated... EGO.
I want a YZ 350F :)
They need a little more 380cc

No lap times?
Took for ever been waiting
450 is a longer lasting motor with less rebuild intervals compared to a 350.
The Kawasaki again?
Of course it's Kawasaki , half the guys in the review own the bike. It's their # 1 ,
