The writers were confused as to what to do with Vicki/Victor storyline. They went over the edge with the Eterna storyline but decided to rewrite and re imagine the "REAL" story behind Vicki's multiple personalities. Due to all of the research about how this unique phenomenon happens...Victor Lord had to be re imagined as not the wealthy pillar of his community and one of the most powerful men in the country, but a horrid abuser and neglectful father to his children.
yes, to ressurect him was outlandish. I have also forgotten about 2003, but at asa's funeral dorian said: I killed your father and when viki said he returend from the grave, dorian coyly said "if in fact that was him"
I wonder hhow Dr Polk, Joe Riley, and MEREDITH LORD would have reacted to the news that Victor Lord had sexually abused Victoria Lord and that as a result besides Niki Smith there was Jean Randolph, Victor Lord, Tommy,Tori, and Princess. If MEREDITH HAD lived (and she should have) she too along with Dorian,Irene, and Tori would have been suspected of killing Victor,
Dorian admitted years later she actually killed him. So I wish we had closure bc what of this whole thing with tori . For years it was thought viki killed him than that stupid resurrection but Dorian said it was probably an imposter than when talking to david she had a quip about killing him and david said " what did u say" and Dorian said oh nothing. I get with every writing regime history gets rewritten this was such a fantastic story I'd have to go with tori killing him but Dorian a couple times years later said she did it . So maybe tori thought she killed him and Dorian finished him off . Dorian was scared for a reason why else would she bring the caustic lye to destroy the skull. Malone wrote that but he could have changed direction. I dont know what to think as canon bc like I said history gets changed by whoever's the latest writer is . I think the classic version is it should have been Dorian as she was suspected from the old days of the show . Dorian did start it. See this is brilliant and makes sense bc Dorian had no clue about the alters so it makes sense she thought she did it bc she did try to kill him.she withheld his meds and in the flashback was going to mess with his medicine but it still doesnt explain why she would use the caustic lye she did that bc the coroner said he had a broken nose . I'd like to think of it as Dorian started it and is guilty for that and would have killed him but tori beat her to the punch so Dorian is guilty of attempted murder for withholding his medication . ( is that attempted murder if someone has a natural heart attack and doesnt help. )
They were literally trolling us. It was a disaster that Victor still alive story. Also why didn't they mention at all a certain wife Dorian? Robin Strasser was literally coming back only a couple of weeks later. But I think they did that as a way to help keep enthusiasm but you can't mess with a serious medical situation like ptsd did. Even in soap opera land. It would of made better sense if someone anybody confirmed at all if Victor was a twin or a brother or even a extremely weird science thing om gh with stravos. Sorry for my rant needed relief.
