Strafe Jumping in Jedi Academy - Best Examples

An additional note:
1) Vertical aim doesn't matter at all. The only aiming that matters is left/right horizontal.
2) Video was made with a STRAFEBOT to show the ideal mouse movement for strafejumping.
3) The jumping is done just to avoid ground friction, you could still accelerate the same way on a frictionless surface without jumping.
4) The keypresses/strafehelper/speedometer are part of a clientside mod which can be downloaded here www.playja.pro . Install it to the gamedata/base or gamedata/japro or gamedata/japlus folder (or whatever server mod you want it to be active on).
5) The map used is racearena_pro

Get some momentum with flipping and force jumps, then start bunnyhopping. You can time it, or hold space before hitting the ground a letting go after you’re in the air. You want to use w and a and switch to w and d like in the video, turning the mouse in the direction you move. Either that or ask someone to show you in game.

Been asking around if anyone figured out how to stop bodies from disappearing in jedi outcast yet, or if there}s a mode for it?
Academy’s g_corpseremovaltime 0 doesn’t work in outcast.

using japro mod, g_racemode 1 or g_racemode 2 and /race. but its easier to join an existing japro server thats already set up and callvote map racearena_pro
