A chase so casual the escapee claims that nobody saw them run off while you're swinging a knife right behind them
To those commenting how easily this obviously was: the killers can disable this extremely fast exit by activating a generator. These killers were no doubt new so didn't know to.
A killer actively unlocked and opened the front door too
How hard is it to turn off the generator? Does it take long?
@@S3RVANTofCHI3F from otzs video i think it takes like 30 seconds to activate the main gate generator, which is out in the open near where Dstrike left. but there is a secondary exist with the valve to open a different gate so its kinda like hatch vs gens kinda?

Not gonna argue with that. However, the killers were new, careless or distracted, and didn't know what to do to avoid the situation, in which someone, as shown on the video, could speedrun the match just by being negligent as a killer, by not securing the generator on the main gate exit, so they could have handled it a better way.
hitchhiker is supposed to turn on a electric gate at the start which he didnt do and thats what let him just run out
It was a bad hitchhiker, Leland would have been DEAD in that time span if hitchhiker just spent the 15 seconds powering the electric fence instead of chasing

Old clip. Beta ended at midnight on monday, so now we have to wait a painful like 2 1/2 months before we can get back on the grind of the game
ngl this game seems so easy, run to key, get key fast, fast do lock on door, run out front door and win
Well the Hitch hiker (knife dude) is supposed to prevent that with his spawn objective, just that this one was new.
the hitchhiker has a generator he's supposed to turn on at the beginning of the game, it activates an electric fence preventing people from just running out the front

Not sure how I feel. If it is really THIS easy to escape, then the game is going to suffer badly. They need to get rid of the lockpick mechanic so there are ample opportunities for the family to attack.
It's actually a lot harder to escape. Normally, the hitchhiker can turn on gens that electrify the exits, requiring survivors to turn them off first. This killer was probably quite new
This hitchhiker didnt turn on the generator at the beggining for some reason. If he wasnt new the leland would have died trying to pull this stunt.
Not to mention that the front door is normally closed and locked, meaning you either need to find a lockpick and pass the minigame while standing in the main hall (an EXTREMELY high-traffic area for killers), jump out the living room window _(making a shitload of noise and fucking yourself up in the process)_ or give up on getting out via the front of the house and start working towards one of the other escape options.
One of the first things you learn when you're playing as the killers is to close and lock doors with padlocks on them behind you when you enter a room. The Cook can put them on high-value doors to control areas. You have keys. The victims don't. What takes you five seconds to open takes them several minutes of sneaking around hunting for tools. Leaving one of the house exits open behind you is essentially giving them a third of the way to their win for free _(As victim, you have to get through the basement, the house and the yard to escape)._
It depends on the experience of both sides, opening opportunities on different points of the map for different things, if one side doesn't know how to do one objective, the other side will benefit.
Its not easy at all.
-The game starts with 2 out of 4 exits opened like that... boom from the start survivors can just run out. What's the catch? The catch is the Hitchhiker. The game spawns you with your face in the first generator that it doesnt tell you to turn on... but you really should otherwise this can happen. Second exit is more tricky but its the car battery. The game gives you plenty of time before teens exit the basement to just walk there. Turn the 2 on, trap them, lock them up and boom. Survivors wont exit in 2 minutes.
