Cats in general are very shy toileters and will often only pee or poop in private. That's why he looked so self conscious. My cat is the same, she can sometimes get so paranoid if someone's watching or walking past that she'll portray this look of horror, stop peeing or pooping half way, and just walk away as if she had never done anything.
Well .. I'm a wife and mom. 27.. and I have 5 cats and a kitten. She's almost 4wks. We found her on hot asphalt in May at one week old abandoned. Anyway, I've been bottle feeding her and helping her go to bathroom. Well three days ago,she pooped on her own and I celebrated 😂🤦🤷

a lot of the time, cat coats do actually determine a cat's personality. i have 2 tabbies and they're both the cuddliest cats ever, and a calico that is a huge brat, like i've heard of a lot of other calicos being. i foster kittens too, lots of kittens with the same coat colours have similar personalities.

on a serious note to anybody reading this, the best purchase from this haul is the water fountain! As a vet tech I can’t recommend them enough for your cat. If you have a male cat especially you should invest in a water fountain. Cats are notorious for not drinking enough water to begin with, and they often accumulate a bunch of crystals in their bladder. A pet fountain is a great way to entice your kitty to drink more water, and prevent a urinary blockage in male cats. If you live in a region with hard water, I recommend purified water and a fountain. I constantly have urinary blockage cases come through my ER doors and it’s very sad. Urinary blockages are life threatening, and may require surgery. Help prevent bladder crystals and stones by encouraging water consumption and purchasing foods that have a little “SO” on the front of the bag (most vet brand foods indicate their SO index clearly on the bag). Cats are also prone to kidney problems and UTIs, and increased water consumption can help prevent those issues, in addition to preventing bladder stones. Those plastic Cat it fountains are affordable and work well (my bunny has one), and the drinkwell stainless steel fountains are great too if you have a little more money to spend. 🐱 ❤️ It’s kinda cool to see that fancy litter box that tells you when your cat goes. It may seem stupid and superfluous, but if you have a cat that’s blocked in the past this could be a great tool! Ngl not just as a vet tech but as an animal lover, I’m so thrilled to see how popular pets have become and how people are willing to go the extra mile to give their pets the best life possible :’) I love it.

Our cat wouldn't drink his water because it was next to his meat, in the wild cats won't drink water next to their prey incase it got contaminated with blood. My cat now drinks his water on a window ledge in a different room and it works like a charm! He's in there everyday and it'll be emptied after a week of hot days- definitely recommend other cat owners try something similar because keeping cats hydrated is important for their health 💗
My cat will only drink fresh cold water from a red solo cup. When he wants water he'll meow at the faucet and wait for me to fill a cup and put it down for him. He ~will~ drink it not fresh but if he can get it fresh he does 😂

on a serious note to anybody reading this, the best purchase from this haul is the water fountain! As a vet tech I can’t recommend them enough for your cat. If you have a male cat especially you should invest in a water fountain. Cats are notorious for not drinking enough water to begin with, and they often accumulate a bunch of crystals in their bladder. A pet fountain is a great way to entice your kitty to drink more water, and prevent a urinary blockage in male cats. If you live in a region with hard water, I recommend purified water and a fountain. I constantly have urinary blockage cases come through my ER doors and it’s very sad. Urinary blockages are life threatening, and may require surgery. Help prevent bladder crystals and stones by encouraging water consumption and purchasing foods that have a little “SO” on the front of the bag (most vet brand foods indicate their SO index clearly on the bag). Cats are also prone to kidney problems and UTIs, and increased water consumption can help prevent those issues, in addition to preventing bladder stones.
Those plastic Cat it fountains are affordable and work well (my bunny has one), and the drinkwell stainless steel fountains are great too if you have a little more money to spend. 🐱 ❤️
It’s kinda cool to see that fancy litter box that tells you when your cat goes. It may seem stupid and superfluous, but if you have a cat that’s blocked in the past this could be a great tool! Ngl not just as a vet tech but as an animal lover, I’m so thrilled to see how popular pets have become and how people are willing to go the extra mile to give their pets the best life possible :’) I love it.

Made me laugh so hard because it reminded me of when I watched my cat poop and saw her scrunch her little chweeks and do a few small little kitty grunts. SHE grunted, and I laughed so fucked hard it scared her. Our cat wouldn't drink his water because it was next to his meat, in the wild cats won't drink water next to their prey incase it got contaminated with blood. My cat now drinks his water on a window ledge in a different room and it works like a charm! He's in there everyday and it'll be emptied after a week of hot days- definitely recommend other cat owners try something similar because keeping cats hydrated is important for their health 💗

My cat will only drink fresh cold water from a red solo cup. When he wants water he'll meow at the faucet and wait for me to fill a cup and put it down for him. He ~will~ drink it not fresh but if he can get it fresh he does 😂
