    Your equation for t50 is incorrect, simply adding d0 and d100 and dividing by 2 won’t give you d50 unless d0 is at 0in

      The procedure and the equation are correct. This is a well-established method. Please refer to the Principles of Geotechnical Engineering by Das (10th edition, Chapter 12.13) for more details. Any soil mechanics book should have this method as well.
