- Last week we visited Lucieno and gave him a donation of food. We learned he enjoyed playing guitar but didn't own one. Today we visit him again and surprise him with a new guitar. He then gives us a mini concert.

While there we built over 25 C.R's (toilets) and built and repaired many homes and distributed food and other essential items thanks to this youtube channel and the subscribers. HAPPINESS IS HELPING, People in need, that's my look on life. Oddly for the last 14 months I've supported a one parent family. A Philippino, Mother her teenage Son, her Mother with allso a young Cousin who Mother died. I've helped build a small simple house and donated a monthly Allowance, it's brought me great joy and from the begining my thoughts where no person knows the future. Recently I've asked this lady would she accept my hand in marriage and she accepted. Now all of our lives have changed by a simple gift of giving hope.

People give for many reasons. I give because it makes me feel better about myself knowing that I made a difference and put a smile in someone's face. Not everyone is fortunate as many of us that's why I give to the needy. Especially, I have extra, things that I don't use no more. I believe if everyone would donate their things that they don't need and just sits in the house/storage. As a veterans, I know what it feels like when receiving a package while I was deployed. I felt the love and caring from other people. I know that there many people out there who has a great heart. God Bless everyone and Stay safe!

Why people give is a bit on the touchy side. See some give in-hopes to get something in return. Some give thinking it will pay for the wrong they have done in their life time. Some give because they feel they have to . some give to impress and some give for love. I give because I get more out of giving then I do getting. I love to see the smiles on the faces. I love to make others smile even when times are hard . On my Birthday I will have a party and not one gift is for me instead I buy gifts for others.
I do shy away from giving gifts to people that look for the cost of the gift . Wow thinking back to all the things I gave to people and remembering the smiles many had on their face it was wonderful to do so with no regrets .
Here is a true story for you . A few years back I was driving along and saw a car in an empty parking lot that use to be a shoe factory that had shut down many years before. I happen to see 4 people with the hood up trunk open so I thought I would see if I could help any. As I pulled up I noticed they were 2 couples all at least 70 years old. I got out of my car and was walking to the men and I could hear the men tell the old ladies get in the car lock the doors.
I understood why I was young and well I also have long hair and most would think I was a drug addict . I asked is there any problem and the men both said no no problem thank you .
I knew they were a little scared but I was not stupid I knew they had a problem and I noticed they were not from my state from the Plate . I told the men I just wanted to help if I can and I had no intention to cause harm . I then told them I have a trunk full of tools. The ladies told the men to let me try and help they have little money and they can not pay for a tow or to have the car fixed. Took a little bit to talk the men in to letting me look but in time they listen to their wives .
I got under their car and well they lost the exhaust system from the headers to the tail pipe lol. I knew I could fix it if I had all the parts but even with all my tools I wasn't fixing that so I made a call to some people I Repo cars for I told them the year make and Model told them what I needed in under 2 hours I had all I needed brought to me . Remember I heard them say they had little money . I was working under the car and the ladies I believe think I was hard of hearing told the men what will we do we can't pay this man and the men said I don't know the ladies said i we are scared what if he gets mad at us.
After a little while I had their car fixed and running smooth I even checked their oil they were down a quart and had no washer fluid so I put some in. I keep a lot of things in my car most don't because I never know what I will need when i repo something . I told the couples they are all set and then the big question came up . How much do we owe you sir? I said you are all set have a safe trip and drive safe . Well they were not going to have non of that . They then insisted they need to pay me something . I looked at the men smiled and then looked at the ladies and said will you pay me in full price they said we really don't have much money sir I said well pay me what I ask for then . They said we can try how much I said one hug each from you lovely ladies is my fee .
The ladies had tears in their eyes and with a smile gladly gave me big hugs then asked me for my address. I said sure but before I give you my address I would like you to know I repo cars so if you send me any money I will come take off what i put on because you then would have over paid me with a smile. 5 Months later I got a letter in the mail it was from the couples they sent me a Xmas card thanking me for all the help told me they were able to complete their trip make it home safe . I got cards from them each Xmas for about 5 years .

I have been on the receiving end and it touched me deeply that people helped me out. I spent two years healing from neck surgery and couldn't work. The smallest thing meant so much to me but more importantly that people thought about me and reached out to me in my time of need. There is a huge difference in needing a hand up than a hand out. So many good people have fallen on difficult times. We all should strive to make our mother earth a better place.... A-ho! That is Lakota Sioux for Amen.
We cannot take with us material things when we are done with our short pilgrimage in this life. Dustin, that was an awesome & very kind gesture on the donor who provided Luciano a beautiful electric/acoustic Guitar. The quality of the sound and the sunburst color and the tone is really good. So, happy for Luciano. "Giving is Caring & Sharing". It gives one inner peace and the the Receiver joy & happiness to make him/her feel that he/she is loved and cared despite his/her disability.
It will be great one day to see U & Luciano play guitars and Reche sing with her magical voice and then she & Luciano can sing a Bisaya duet and U, Reche & Luciano sing together, since Christmas in the Phils starts early. Only make sure Reche doesn't sing too much on a high key as it will be tough for Luciano to hit those high notes. By herself solo she will sound great. Just have a Serenading session Dustin. U have a heart of Gold. Maybe Reche & Luciano should sing "Searching For A Heart Of Gold" & "Stand By Me" By John Lennon and many others who sang different versions .

I remeber when i was a kid my dad,uncle and grandpa always teach me how to sing and theyre going to play the guitar then the next following week i joined a singing competition in our barangay and i won...im a champion that night and the prize was 500.oo and dad was getting my money to buy rice the next day...😂
Haha same here..me and my twin always joined in a singing contest in our barangay before.. the highest price is 500 and 2nd price 300 and the 3rd prize 200😄 me and my twin is always in first and 2nd place 😄😄and ofcourse the fix price is only 100 each for me and for my twin the rest is for my mother 😊❤ I missed her so much 😥💔she's now in a happy place no more pain..
As to your question- I give because I’m at my happiest when I do. It’s a joy from within that’s unexplainable and indescribable. Nothing beats the feeling of being able to help and bless someone.

Great question: we give because we were shown through our Saviour Jesus Christ on how to give to those who don’t have much. Plus you can’t take your worldly possessions in the next life, you leave that all behind & take only your knowledge. The world is in need of giving. Another reason why we give, is because our hearts are full & blessed that you just want to pay it forward!

I have a few ideas on why people donate but with complete sincerity you personally are singularly responsible for restoring my faith that people are enacting honest charity work. Seriously, your actions are not just building good acts amongst the people your providing charity for. You are also providing faith that charity CAN be done without belittling the receiver or just to make yourself some big shot. I really respect what your doing. I'm not religious but you are absolutely a blessing to those you meet.
