The 90s was the best years along with the early 2000-2004. I can say that i love all my 90s cartoons and wish that they made a channel for 90s so that all of the 90s kids can go back and watch the classic! Just sayin!
I wasn't born til they stopped making these shows (98) but I love them now and I'll be hooked 4ever! P.s. even today's society would flip for this and tv shows don't have experation dates
Born in 1990, started to watch Nickelodeon in 1990. I am 90s kid and always will be and I am proud of it! Glad I have Dish Network because I heard DIRECTV got rid of Teennick!
They need to bring back Are You Afraid of the Dark and The Secret World of Alex Mack. And some of the game shows too. I like the cartoons but I prefer the live action shows.
Even though I'm only 14 I can remember all of these shows. I loved them and I think they should bring them back, all of the shows! The kids don't even know what they are missing!
They need new shows on the 90s are all that. I stopped watching it a few months ago when they played All That too many times. They need to rotate the shows. But I still love this song. It's an impressive mix!
Corrected: "I would love this overnight programming block 100% more, if TeenNick's programming officers filmed syndicated episodes of 1/2 of all of the classic #90sNick television programming choices. The reason why, is because @90sAreAllThat basically only broadcasts #AllThat , #KenanandKel , #HeyArnold, #Rugrats, and #CatDog." Seinfeld, Dennis Miller Live, Melrose Place, TNG, Beavis & Butt-Head and Baywatch. Scream, Forrest Gump, Titanic, Silence of the Lambs, Home Alone and the Blair Witch. Curtained hair, the Rachel, Doc Martens and slap bracelets. Dolly the Sheep, the O.J. trial, the world cried when Diana died. The Peppers, the Pilots, the Pumpkins and Pearl Jam. Nirvana and NIN. TLC, B.I.G., Tupac and Eminem. Need I mention the PlayStation, DVDs and President Clinton? The '90s ruled, wish I could go back.
Well, there hasn't been any other 90's shows. Because everyday, it always shows the same 5 shows: All that, Kenan and Kel, Rugrats, Hey arnold, and Doug. All the rest of the 90's shows like catdog, nick arcade, get the picture, the wild thornberrys, nickelodeon guts, Global guts, Figure it out, Double Dare, super sloppy double, family double dare, and other shows haven't been on television for a long time. It even did that on 2012. Now they're going to do the same to 2013.
I have some good news, starting 3/2/2013 at 11:59pm EDT new television programming choices will be added to TeenNick, this includes: #ClarissaExplainsItAll , #TheRenandStimpyShow, #RadioFreeRoscoe, #SouthofNowhere, and many more. Source(s): Xfinity from Comcast TV digital programming guide
I'm eleven and I disagree strongly. I was just wondering on RUclips and I ran into some 90's kid videos. It was awesome! I looked at my new toys and I agreed with my brain that the old toys were better. I now plan on making a 90's collection. So far I only have two furbys.
@nate100ooze:#90sAreThat was made with "those who grew up with 90s Nickelodeon" in mind. The lauching promos for the block make this abundantly clear. Just because you watched reruns does not mean you really experienced the 90's in comparison to those who were truly there. Those who lived that decade (we from the middle-to-late 80s) have more experience and credibility than those who were "rugrats" when the 90's began, because unlike the televised cartoon toddlers who were mature for their age level (ditto for the gang on Hey Arnold, whom creator Craig Bartlett said were "teens in kid bodies" as a result of the "putting kid's first" mantra of early Nickelodeon), real-life people do not usually develop as fast, unless properly raised by good, caring parents who tried to help their kids progress through life.
I guess I'm a 90s kid. I was born in 1999. I wish I could have watched these shows when they were new. Everything on Nick after 2006 just gone downhill. :/
Of all generations, it's the 90s kids who don't seem to realize the 90s is OVER. In fact, people claim they're 90s kids because they were born in 1996. So cute.
What about the 80's? Where is my You Can't Do That on Television? Most people don't even know that this was the show that the "Green Slime" (Nickelodeon's signature item) came from.
@90sPurist: While I don't doubt the 90's greatness (chiefly Nickelodeon, but also the Kid's WB [Taz-mania, Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Pinky & the Brain, Freakazoid, and the like, as well as the DC Comics mega-hit, Batman: The Animated Series and its future spin-off, Batman Beyond] and early Cartoon Network [which was its own Boomerang back then before going on to create the "Cartoon Cartoons" as we've come to know them], as well as the Disney shows prior to the Zoog era that acted as a precursor to what we currently have), the 80's had good shows too (for me, this was sitcoms like ALF and Facts of Life [though that technically began in 1979] and everything by Jim Henson [Sesame Street before Elmo's World, reruns of The Muppet Show, Fraggle Rock, Muppet Babies, etc.] and Disney [the Disney Afternoon block from the 80's later paved the way for Disney's One Saturday Morning block in the 90's and both blocks had good, enjoyable programming]) and even the 00's did as well (Justice League, all of the "Cartoon Cartoons" on Cartoon Network [which were created in the mid-to-late 90s and continued into the 00's], Kim Possible, Teen Titans [the 2003-2006 series, which was actually based on an 80's comic book, The New Teen Titans], Invader ZIM [a cult hit despite only being on from 2001-2002], Jimmy Nuetron: Boy Genius, Danny Phantom [the only Butch Hartman show I really liked, honestly], The Last Airbender [which has spun-off into the current incarnation, Legend of Korra], etc.).
***** I also replied to you, too. Though 90sPurist was being an ass, I can see where he's coming from in some regards. I mean, at least most nostalgic things at least had some moral value to them. The closest thing nowadays to such a thing is the newest MLP series, although Gravity Falls is good if you like weirdness, the new Mickey Mouse shorts harken back to the 1930's, and Phineas and Ferb remains good despite repetition. Other than that, what moral value can kids today get from crap like the shit spewed out by Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber? Nothing. Let's face it, in the 00's, though it did have some good television, people began to get stupid. At least from the 90's shows, there was always some decency and moral fiber thrown in. For example, Ren & Stimpy was gross and vulgar, but it was example of how NOT to act. Ditto for Rocko in some respects, though it was sometimes tamer than Ren & Stimpy and therefore, wasn't as criticized as much. The bratty Angelica on Rugrats or obsessive Helga on Hey Arnold would also serve as examples of how not to act. Both girls were tsundere due to lack of attention from their parents (who raised them using ineffective parenting skills [Helga's outright ignored by her parents and Angelica's parents happen to be workaholics]), so they had some sympathy (although this is more towards Helga than Angelica, as we got to see Helga's development more, whereas Angelica had to always revert back to being "The Queen of Mean" due to her role as series antagonist, even if she did have her rare nice moments). Despite gaining sympathy from those who actually analyzed them beyond what was shown on the surface, both blond bullies lashed out at those closest to them (the kids of PS118 for Helga and the "dumb babies" for Angelica), picking on their primary targets - Arnold and Chuckie - in particular because they didn't otherwise know how to act around them (the relationship of Arnold & Helga was foreshadowed by how Arnold grandparents were when they were young and the way Angelica picks on cautious dork Chuckie and orders about dutiful assistant Harold is just like how her corporately authoritarian mom Charlotte treats pushover husband-father Drew and resentful employee Jonathan), and this is all thanks to Craig Bartlett's influence on both series (as a writer for Rugrats, he helped Paul Germain with Angelica's creation and as the creator of Hey Arnold, he based Arnold on himself - whilst voicing chronic wheezer Brainy and Arnold's missing father, Miles - and his equally famous wife [Lisa Groening, sister of Simpsons and Futurama creator, Matt Groening and the inspiration for Lisa Simpson] came up with Helga's stalker obsession, basing Arnold & Helga off their marriage, much like a real-life Millhouse and Lisa from the future-based episodes of The Simpsons). Excluding the other Nicktoons (which are quirky in their own ways), most of the other shows are just good-time sitcoms (Clarissa, Alex Mack, My Brother and Me, and even the on-location Hey Dude and Salute Your Shorts), a kid's horror anthology series (Are You Afraid of the Dark?), game shows (Legends, GUTS, and Double Dare), and sketch comedies (All That and subsequent spin-offs Kenan & Kel and The Amanda Show) that are like a good, junior version of SNL without crossing the line into sensitive territory like supposed "adult" comedies (SNL, MadTV, and [adult swim]) do. Overall, the core point of this is that most cartoons today do not have that middle ground that earlier shows used to have. Where's the morality that taught kids what's what instead of telling them to act stupid?
You do know that there is a show about a talking dog with a blog airing on television, right? Us 00s kids DESERVE 90s shows! I should know, I was born in 2001. I literally saw all these channels change right in front of eyes! I was just to little to understand what was going on.
Guys, look at the video statistics. Except for the heavily-skewed gender popularity, the audience statistic is soooo accurate and awesome. No one below 18 seems to recall these shows since they weren't growing up with them omg lol
@kerrywsmyth Probably because the 90's shows were much more successful. Though I agree You Can't Do That on Television was an amazing show and it's re-runs were played into the 90's so maybe it will be on there. Oh well I gotta go figure out what channel Teen Nick is and start watching. Wonder if they'll play any old commercials and sketches like Stick Stickly.
Nickelodeon needs to have a tv channel just like Cartoon Networks Boomerang aimed at baby boomers Make it 90s are all That Which is aimed at late 1980s to early 2000s Kids itll be good
teennick is bring back the snick line up this saturday for one night only they have all that, are you afaird of the dark, clarissa explains it all, and rem and stimpy on
couldn't agree more. You have 70s and 80s gen talk about their love for their decade, but "90s kids" are the ones who just bitch and complain. Like this for example. Teennick dedicates the 90s with their special every night, yet they still complain
Tbh, I was a late 90s kid, but unlike most of them, I adjust to my young adult life. If I want old stuff like SNES or VHS or watch old TV shows, I buy it online or at the store or just go on Netflix, instead of wasting time to bitch and cry about it online on YT or message boards, and what exactly is that supposed to accomplish first of all?
I don't think it is. Here's why I think that, I did the 7 day advanced thing and there were many times where it didn't show up on the guide. I guess the 7 day advanced really isn't accurate.
Well, when I was in elementary school, I would watch TVLand (a 24-hour digital cable TV network that only broadcast TV shows from 1953 - 1984). In 2006, when I started middle school, I stopped watching TVLand, because TVLand's programming officers took off all of these television programs and replaced them with crap shows such as: #Roseanne, #TheNanny, #HomeImprovement, #ShesGottheBook, & #ExtremeFakeoverGayEdition." So, as a result of this I reverted back to Nickelodeon.
Airing the bumbers and ID's as well as the shows was just a master touch. It really REALLY takes you back. Too bad they can't air 90's commercials, right?
I nearly teared. I miss those times.
ShackledDreamz me too now its the splat and they show hey arnold and not kenen and kel and their old sit coms
I feel soo lucky to grow up in the 90's and was obsessed with these shows....
The 90's were awesome, even though I was young then.
I still remember all these shows. XD
They're not playing this anymore. Thankfully RUclips still has this!

Cool
1:50 cracks me up every time...oh ren... lol
You do know that there is a show about a talking dog with a blog airing on television, right?
Us 00s kids DESERVE 90s shows! I should know, I was born in 2001. I literally saw all these channels change right in front of eyes! I was just to little to understand what was going on.
We have DirecTV and still get Teen Nick.
So 2000s
There's no 90s are All That here on Nick Canada!!!! WHY?!
Does anybody know how to download this so I can put it on my iPod? :o (like without the video, just the music) :)
Guys, look at the video statistics. Except for the heavily-skewed gender popularity, the audience statistic is soooo accurate and awesome. No one below 18 seems to recall these shows since they weren't growing up with them omg lol
After hearing this song, someone should make their own version of Toonami.
Please!!!! Don't cancel 90's Are All That!!!! Please keep it permanent!!!!
Also I watched some old shows and I can admit I laughed at nickelodean for the first time ever sense old Spongebob.
Who that at 1:25
Elisha Cuthbert Phanuef
l love those classic nick shows but Rugrats beats them all
whos the guy at 0:58 that looks like steve urkel?
What does kel say "all you need is millions"??
Tbh, I was a late 90s kid, but unlike most of them, I adjust to my young adult life. If I want old stuff like SNES or VHS or watch old TV shows, I buy it online or at the store or just go on Netflix, instead of wasting time to bitch and cry about it online on YT or message boards, and what exactly is that supposed to accomplish first of all?
they shouldve just shown the blocks of all that, kenan & kel, doug, rugrats, and hey arnold! since they keep on showing the same ones
I don't think it is. Here's why I think that, I did the 7 day advanced thing and there were many times where it didn't show up on the guide. I guess the 7 day advanced really isn't accurate.
well at least we didn't get superman 64
ps are you bentheloooneys brother
man i didnt grow up in the 90s
@eighteen18jts: It's there. Just look for it.
who is that lady at 0:44
1:23 What is the name of this show?
Well, when I was in elementary school, I would watch TVLand (a 24-hour digital cable TV network that only broadcast TV shows from 1953 - 1984). In 2006, when I started middle school, I stopped watching TVLand, because TVLand's programming officers took off all of these television programs and replaced them with crap shows such as: #Roseanne, #TheNanny, #HomeImprovement, #ShesGottheBook, & #ExtremeFakeoverGayEdition." So, as a result of this I reverted back to Nickelodeon.
guess what nickelodeon brought back all that and kenan and kel at 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm
WHAT SHOW IS THE ONE AT 0:25
what should we flag him for
I love the 90's, it went by way too fast.
Nick forgot to add earthworm jim the cartoon
@Choazed ever seance 2006 it was stupid. before that it was a great channel.
