    If we set a Public Static IP in my vm how much cost will come monthly and if i stop the vm when i not using it still IP address will be charging?

      If its Static IP, Its reserved for you and your VM, so fixed cost be there around rs.100 to rs.500 per month I think. If you stop the VM the IP will not change as its Static IP so no impact on cost. But Autoshut down will save a lot cost on montly bills!

    Hi, how many public static IPs does Azure allow?

    • @AzureTalks
      @AzureTalks  9 месяцев назад

      The default limit for static public IP addresses in Azure is 20. However, this limit can be raised by opening a support request via the Azure portal.
      Alternatively, you can switch to the ARM dynamic public IP allocation method which has a default limit of 60 IP per subscription.
      Please note that all Azure subscriptions are authorized to use 5 Reserved IPs.
      You can request a Reserved IP limit increase for your subscription by logging a support request. Also, you can create a prefix of up to 16 IP addresses for Microsoft owned prefixes. Only static public IP addresses created with the standard SKU can be assigned from the prefix’s range.
