Having players that can take on the role of authorities in any RP game seems like a huge mistake... some servers actually don't take this shit so seriously but a bunch inevitably devolve in to seeming like Second Life. People doing virtual jobs for no pay, power tripping police who spend most of their time doing nothing other than praying someone breaks a rule, people playing dress up and standing around chatting... and that's it. Definitely a lot of the people who spend hours and hours on RP on the daily need to take more frequent breaks. The game stops being a game and starts becoming an escape from their real life. All of the creative and imaginative scenarios they could get involved with, all of the fun they could be having, is replaced with more mundane activities and a whole lot of tedium. Online socializing is fine but you should set and be aware of boundaries, and certainly there is a lot of ambiguity and misunderstandings that can easily take place just because a lot of it takes place in text form or voice chat. No wonder a bunch of them seem on-edge and ready to crash out at a moment's notice, their isolation and lack of proper socialization breeds a poor temperament.

It’s hilarious that this is meant to be Wild West RP, a notoriously lawless and brutal period in history when pretty much everyone was encouraged to open carry… yet they arrest you for doing so lmao.
So out in the west if you entered town you had to surrender your guns at the sheriff office, or often the taverns will have places to hold guns for people stopping in for short amount of time. You would get told to leave, and then arrested if you don't. It would often be cowboys, who are people who work at ranches, would not want to give up their guns to get a drink that cause trouble. They get roughed up, ran out of town, or arrested. Often the sheriffs will have past experience doing crime then become the law in time.

So to be fully realistic they need to put in a storage box and force players to check their guns. The magic pocket is just a way to simulate that idea I would think. If I remember right the shootout at ok corral started when the local marshal's decision to enforce a city ordinance that prohibited the carrying of weapons into town. The cowboys refused and they shot each other.

F is punch R is Block/counter (If you hold R you'll block but if you press it right before an attack you'll counter) In order to counter you press R and when you counter press F right after to mess em up good.
Yo to counter hold r (block) and move left or right to dodge (IMPORTANT BECAUSE NOBODY HAS MENTIONED THE DODGE COUNTER YET) and then immediately hit f right after to counter, another way is to hit r (block) right before they land their punch to stun them
I swear every Red Dead RP video Zimery tries harder to actually RP and spends longer tied up by other players. The hardest part of this video to watch definitely had to be when Zimery was going to cheat a fist fight by using a knife, an actually interesting RP scenario, and then got almost immediately tackled to the ground by the wannabe sheriff and tied up.

Best way to win fights - spam R you will never get hit and most of the time counter. As soon as you get a counter you can punch twice before he can hit you back then spam R again. Then repeat :)

There is a way to get out of jail You go to that little shed thingy with the hay bails You jump behind the wooden wall inbetween the wooden wall and the concrete jail wall and ragdoll and it pushes you out the cement wall after a few seconds It doesn't always work first try

if you hold R while moving in any direction with WASD while in combat it blocks/doges the attacks so you can try and use that next time you get in a fist fight. and to simplify combat just use F to attack which also works as a tackel while charging them

I swear these red dead trolling videos reminds me of the book The Trial by John Franz Kafka or The stranger by Albert Camus, in which the protagonist is arrested for arbitrary reasons, and it's probably more interesting than that. Zimery seems to just getting arrested more so because the server just hates him or they are just mad, less so about breaking any rules, and when he does get arrested they just make up reasons.
If I was a cop in rdr2 I would arrest someone and close the jail door and immediately soon after like the scene in SpongeBob let them out saying “have you learned your lesson criminal scum?” Still, don’t understand why they would punish someone for roleplaying.
