Great info on your channel. I’m looking for a 26’ box truck with a Cummins. I’ve only found 220HP motors with the Cummins B6.7 motor. On a test drive with no cargo it felt like it lacked power. Do you think a 220HP Cummins would be enough HP on a 26’ box truck? I’ll be running loads in California

I went OTR with my box truck recently for the 3rd time, it’s always easy finding a load going out of town but it’s a whole different story trying to get back and I lose money trying to deadhead to good areas to catch a load.
I actually started driving truck less but I bought a random pallet full of stuff from Amazon (it’s used stuff that people have returned to Amazon that they don’t care to resale) and just sold alot of it at a garage sale here at home. Also doing DoorDash and Amazon Flex and staying in town has worked out better than me straining to find loads trying to get back to town with box truck. Definitely have to create your own path as you mentioned.
