That wave of sound that hit me when I walked into The Golden Dome arcade in the early eighties brings back some great memories of my youth. That piano from Cheyenne always stood out.
Timeless game! Would be great if someone made a "all gun" games from the arcade compilation kind of like the nintendo-mini but with light guns. Co-op couch fun!
Great video! I was 15 when it came out and was one of my favorite arcade games. The only arcade I remember it in was the Jolly Joker in the Yakima Mall (Washington State). I've wanted to play it for years. There is a MAME emulated version but it's way too impossible with the standard xbox 360 pad. I do see where there are light guns out now that work but I think each game has to have special software made for it and this doesn't have so my wait continues.
One of my faves I always had to play at the pizza parlour. I could barely make it to the 2nd stage, though! This one ate up my quarters, and I would only play once or twice before wanting that plastic chicken egg. You kick ass!
This was my favourite game of all time,,, and,, I was king at it,, forgot all about this until your video
The Apache Braves saying "Pale Face" and the Banditos saying "Aye Carumba!!" when you shot them always cracked me up. 😉
The quality of your videos is second to none..!!
Holy Smoke ~ what a bad ass shooter..!! I have never seen ~ thanx fur sharing!
wow, someone with some actual motor skills played this game 😁 Thanks for making me relive the late 80's arcade scene
Wow! That game and those sounds brought back memories of playing this at the MN State Fair!! They Always had the sound turned away up on this!!!!
Coincidentally, I live in MN :)
I remember that game vividly from the "Penny Arcade" at the State Fair!!!
Have You been to "Staircase" at Roseville Mall?!?! It's INCREDIBLE!!!!
Exidy made the best lightgun games!
This game always stuck in my head for one reason, when the Indian says “PALE FACE.” lol
mee too!

I remember playing this game in the arcades as a kid. I never could get past a single level.
I hear you! Had the same problem with Chiller and Crossbow!

Loved that. Want one. Thanks again for doing it. Great presentation.
I played this in Chuck E Cheese in the 90's, been trying to figure out what it was for the longest time! Thanks!
Miss this game so much. Spent ridiculous amounts of quarters on this one.
I used to play this at magic mountain in California!! Omg such good memories!! 😎😎
Favorite arcade game back in the day. That and Gallaga.
Good video, love that game....it was hard!

I loved this game as a kid! I'd love to find one to restore. Thanks for the video!

I remember this game in the laundry mat !!!
My laundromat had it too.
I always felt like this was easier than Crossbow. I enjoyed both of these games as a young teen.
That was fun to watch. Great memories
Never saw this title in the arcade. Only Crossbow. It freaked me out as a kid.
I never saw Exidy gun games in the arcades, but I could see them intimidating me as well! I remember Punch Out that way.
utubepunk me too, it was a bit intense.
It's like an escort mission. Instead of you the player being shot, you gotta protect your sheriff.
I loved this game as a kid.
great video Jim, now I want an exidy gun game, always loved them....
Thanks Dave! Yeah, they're really neat games - very unique!
Hey brother i have been looking forever for this game. Where could i get one

Uy aquellas largas tardes de verano de 1985 y 1986 chispas en Morelos, Monterrey, N.L.
Dayum I haven't seen this game in 38 years
Very jealous of your home arcade.

Ugh! The whole time I'm like... Cash in the gold... Cash in the gold! lol
where can i get this game??
Check the normal auction sites. Craigslist, Offerup, Letgo, Facebook marketplace, ebay, etc.
Would you be interested in selling Cheyenne? My friend and I have been searching for this game.
Sorry, but it's not for sale. Thanks though!
I always thought the Indian guy said “HAIL SATAN”
Bison
They couldn't make this game today because it's too politically incorrect. 😉
