I was fortunate enough to try this out when it was still on a bread board. I threw down money immediately and got serial number 0001. My bandmates got 0002 and 0003.

This is one of those annoying (in a good way) videos where it sounds so good but then I realise that it’s the playing/composition that really shows off the pedal. If if had one of these I’d almost certainly end up disappointed when i couldn’t get it to sound this good.

FYI the ‘trim’ is for matching the level of the mids drive to the chosen fuzz settings but it also has gain and tone trimpots inside. 🤯 🤯🤯

All three sound great. I doubt live they’d make a difference, but maybe in a studio?
I really like the adjustment ability of this great pedal. I would like to see the different LIGHT FUZZ tones you can get with it. I found a setting I like with my Mexi Strat through a Fender Vibroverb that is just killer thanks again.
I do like to set the fuzz knob to the minimum, but still it is a fairly thick fuzz. You could dial back your guitar volume knob to get even lighter though
This is fantastic. When I learn to play guitar, I will be all over this.
Silly q: would this work for an electric keyboard?
Absolutely! It might be a bit quieter or louder because sometimes pedals interact weird with keyboards, but it will definitely work
I don’t like the muffled sound of the left mid boost footswitch. A footswitch for the eq bypass toggle switch instead would have sold me! Great sounding fuzz apart from that!
There are some internal trimpots you can use to tweak the voice of the mids drive too. I also socketed the overdrive's opamp so you can replace it with a TL072 or something brighter if you want. Basically mod your own pedal 😆
That eq bypass footswitch idea has me thinking though!
That’s good because sounding like that (4:33) it would probably completely vanish in the band mix. Btw I just watched RJ’s demo and felt the same way there. That eq bypass though really takes the tone up a step for some lead stuff or something.
