My neighbor gave us their 14ft AG pool and saw this post. I'll be making this project this week for my brother who's disabled and this idea would be perfect for when he comes visit. Thanks
Any tutorials to do this? I don’t have any experience in construction. My mom is a little overweight and has back and waist problems. I would like to do this for her so she can enjoy our above ground pool.
Awesome. I was looking for ideas. I'm going to do this but I'm going to put those no slip tape down on the wood. It's been a year did you seal it or anything? How'd it hold up? Would you have done anything differently?
Great Video... It's solid and works. I thought it was great but then saw you had drilled holes in the wood for the stairs- Brilliant! Still need to get rid of the metal stairs inside. I need to figure that out. Thanks for the video, my Family goes in much less because of those STUPID metal stairs.
EXACTLY what I need!! ( I’m 68) arthritis! I love the pool for exercise.. can’t do the ladder steps!!
That's exactly why I made it for my mom.
Thanks so much !! How tall is your pool
@@Karen-ys1knStandard height is usually between 48 to 52 inches. Unless you get one of the smaller pools.

It’s perfect, just modify your handrail to the very front to the pool.
Awesome you took the time and effort to get your Mom into the pool 👍😎✊
Yes, thanks
Just did mine today. Thanks ur video gave me the confidence to make it. And it saved me $250
And it won’t budge if you made the same one I did. Sooo heavy
@@LawnPusher yes sir it’s sturdy I’m going to paint it next weekend
@@realplexent if you are on Instagram. Check out LawnPusher. Like to see the end redult
@@LawnPusher I don’t have one yet but I’m getting one soon because I’m going to start doing reviews on boxing equipment. I will check it out
I did something similar but I attached the pool ladder to the top and I painted the ladder and it's incredible. Thanks for the idea👍
Smart idea
I have had this type of pool for years, but now at 70, with bad knees, i need a ladder like that. I text your video to my son's. THANKS.
Glad I could help

I didn't even care about your video, but that kid was intimidating, so I liked and subscribed.
HoneyBadger can be very intimidating
Good for you brother! God Bless you and your family.
Thank you
This is awesome! It's so simplistic and looks very solid. I know what I'm going to be doing this weekend! Thanks for sharing
No problem. It’s very heavy and sturdy. Only that different I would do is the top railing
That was awesome! Trying to find away to gain a better and safer entry to our pool. The ladder it came with gets flimsy over the years.
It makes life in the pool easier
Cool. I just want to make simple steps for some older family members too. I'll try something like this.
Check out my newest video on my newest modification of the stairs
@@LawnPusher how much will this cost me if I let a handy man do this?
Thanks for posting This. This is so much better than pallet steps!
You're so welcome!

Held it with no issues, I used treated wood for ground and whatnot.
You’re golden. What a great son you are. 😃
Wow, thank you... I try
I subscribed lil guy 🎉 I'm Ganna build this on Friday thanks a lot nice and simple 👍
Did you build it yet?
@@LawnPusher I ended up building a deck out of ply and pallets stairs go up one side and down the other
Did it work ok for mom once she had to climb into pool on flimsy ladder? I’m about to build this 🎉thank you
I suggest a solid ladder instead
Great job! Exactly what I needed! Thank you!
Glad this helped!!!!

Pudiste resolver el problema del interno ?
Great job my friend. My wife has bad arthritis, this is a great video
Built it for my mom, and she loves it
BRILLIANT!!!!!!!
Works great
This rocks man.
We love it
Great job g and great idea ty
Not a problem. It’s really heavy and works for the pool.
How do I get the measurements and list of materials for the stairs?
I talk about it in the video
Very nice job looks GREAT
Thank you!!!
I did something similar to that and it works fine. Not happy with pt wood for the steps though. They lasted not quite 4 years.
Excellent
I thought he was going to say his elderly mom wants to get in the pool so we want her to use this and he pointed at the trampoline LOL
I was going to say it, but she wouldn’t like that too much. Lol
Perfect 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Would be very helpful if there was some measurements otherwise nice steps! Mom is blessed to have a son like you!
Just measure what you would want for your stairs. That is all I did
Is there a materials list? I saw two stringers and six steps… how man 4x4s and 2x4s?
Thanks for the question
I saw you post these on one of the Pool groups on Facebook. Nice stuff man.
Everyone really liked the picture and video I posted in the group
@@LawnPusher Yeah, it's a cool group.
All positive stuff. Its really nice
My pool is 24x52-in pool can I use that
I don't see why you couldn't
What materials did you buy in size boards? I need to make a set of steps myself.
I need to get a list and make another one just to show everyone. Maybe soon.
@@LawnPusher WHERES THAT LIST!! I need it too!!!
What size bolts and screws u use tys
Sadly I have moved and don't have the steps anymore. Next time I make a video I will have parts lists setup
How much did it cost?
Back then it was around $120 I believe
Nice! 👍🏼
Thank you!!!
Can u give me exact measurements please...Disabled and will have someone build for me...Ty...
Thanks for the comment. You would need to go by the size of the pool you have
Such a great son ❤️👌🏾🌱 PITTL
I try. PITTL
Where did you but the pre cut out steps?
Lowe’s has them. Different amount of steps too.
how deep is the pool?
40” to the top of the pool which is how tall my steps are
Are you able to show dimensions? Trying to build myself!
I talked about dimensions in the video
what size plansk??
It’s been forever. I don’t remember but I think it was 4ft
Buy the stairs that screw into the wood now
You know it. Those make all the difference
Its what a need
It’s came out great
Come make mine 😊
Pay me 1 million and I will.
Wish you would have shown how to make the steps :(
Sorry. It’s super simple. Maybe next time
They sell precut deck stringers (the part that the steps go on) at the usual home improvement stores.
Hi there fellas
Hello

Yes
Mom still got to step over the gap to walk down the crappy ladder needs a small flat piece on top in my opinion
I agree with that
